Hiby - all the way, as Fiio tend to release decent players but their software support and bug fixing is terrible, similar for Shanling.
Joe (engineer) from Hiby is on this forum, as well as being active on headfi and responds very quickly to questions/issues and often implements users recommendations into the updates.
Hiby players also have excellent PEQ, convolution filters (excellent sounding) and operational software.
Yeah, I guess I’m biased owning a Hiby R6 iii but there you go
