Fiio K11 R2R vs. SMSL DO100 Pro?

Not with my gear, my mods, my listening space, and my ears.
Yeah mate your ears, unless you are not human, are not special. This is not audiogon, get over it lol

Have you tried a high end regulated linear power supply? With your gear list I doubt you'd notice a difference.

The usual pretentious audiophool snob reply. You have zero idea what I have owned in the past or still own. I dont have my music setup listed only my HT gear so yeah, don't make a fool of yourself.
We got measurements and science backing up our claims... All you have is flowery prose and imagination.
Doesn't take a genius to realize who is right and who is wrong lol

About as audiofool clichéd as you can get.

How can people be so oblivious?
It's insane that with all the info we have these days, people can be so naive lol some people just can't be helped lol

Please take this audiophile magical thinking nonsense to another forum.
For real.. He thinks he is at audiogon or similar nonsense filled forum with gear developed at Hogwarts

If you haven't experienced one of the "big iron" linear PSU's like this one you're in for a treat. It's easy to criticize things you read about but haven't tried for yourself. This little DIY class D with a switch mode wall wort sounded thin and sterile but with the Astron linear the transformation was down right jaw dropping. You would never know it was the same amp.

First, you don't know what I have tried or have not tried but since you lack any kind of remotely valid evidence your only option is to use "guesses" of what I have not tried to try giving some value to your "argument".
You have zero proof to counter because imagination cannot be measured.

Second, we were talking about DACs not amps.
So don't change the subject.
As I said, we have many DACs with transparent Performance already...you cannot make it more transparent for a human as it's already beyond what we can hear.
This is actually that simple...
Stop beating a dead horse.
Unless you have actual facts to prove your claims (which of course you don't since it's not real! ), there is zero reason to continue this argument

If you've tried an external linear power supply with a DAC perhaps you can provide some information or a picture. Personal experience is the greatest teacher. I'd say most of us own or have enjoyed a linear since the majority of amps and preamps use transformers. But many have come to appreciate their lack of noise compared to cheap wall worts when used in DAC's and streamers. There's even an ongoing discussion of which makes the better use of a linear, a DAC or streamer? For several years now a low noise toroidal linear PS has been available to replace the factory SMPS in Node streamers. I'll leave you with this quote from Albert Einstein: "Not everything that counts can be counted and not everything that can be counted counts."

Did you even read the thread that GabrielPhoto linked to? I'll leave you with a quote from Amirm from that thread:

"It is clear that whether you use the USB power, or the supplied switching power supply, there is absolutely no audible improvement in the output of the DAC"

So what conclusions can be drawn from a sample size of one?

Cant see his posts anymore but I blocked him as its pointless to argue with someone that has zero valid evidence so I moved on :D
