i've tested mine on a bunch of phones and on pcs inc. with a usb2 converter and its been flawless EXCEPT in the case of some headphones that have ANC that DON'T seem to pass on their OFF state correctly so the PC always thinks there's nothing attached to the 3.5mm out

always foobar

TIP:

Disable any VPN before the first USB device connection. The JA11 will attempt to auto-update the FW, the connection will possibly fail (it did on Surf-Shark), and you'll end up with a bricked dongle/DAC. At least I assume the VPN might be the culprit (status bar went to 0.18% and never moved again). Dongle no longer recognized by the FiiO Control App.

Ask me how I know. :-(

i've only tested on a few android phones and the app is solid here

android 11-12-13

I think if you restore 1.9 firmware using Windows and then you should get an OTA update for the 2.0 firmware which solves this issue - assuming this is the issue with the UAC 1.0 causing the App to fail.
Oh there's 2.0 firmware alr!

Ok I think I should not tap uac 1.0 whenever I tap it the app fails and got to update the 1.9 firmware again

My IQOO (vivo) phone also has the same problem, but if you set the player to exclusively use USB devices, this noise will disappear, as I mentioned in my previous reply

Where do I find this setting at? I am using Spotify and kkbox

I also found an issue, which is that my VIVO phone can automatically switch the sampling rate. If my player plays audio at 44.1kHz, the signal received by JA11 will also be 44.1kHz, but there will be audible noise (similar to a slight popping sound when modifying EQ). Sampling rates of 48KHZ and above do not have this issue. If the player is set to exclusively use USB devices, there will be no problem playing 44.1KHz audio.
My other phone, when USB device exclusive is not set, will SRC from 44.1KHz to 48KHz, so there is no output state of 44.1KHz when non USB device exclusive is used, so there is no such problem.
Additionally, KA11 JM30 (43131) and several CX31993 USB Dango devices did not detect this issue.
Can U advise me how to set to exclusive use USB device? It is at developer options?

This depends on the music player. Some players can use a dedicated USB DAC to bypass the system's SRC. Generally, more professional players have this setting, but when the music player occupies the USB DAC alone, other apps in the system will not sound, including incoming calls.
