Could someone who ownes a pair of FT7s have a look and let me know, if one of the pad clips were to break in the hole, which is something I am concerned about, would it be possible to remove the plate to extract that or would it be left floating around inside?

Also any thoughts of whether the FT7A pads make much difference to female vocals? A comment I noticed elsewhere about female vocals on the stock FT7:

female vocals are positioned a step back in the mix, while bass lines and high-frequency elements such as hi-hats and triangles draw more attention. The balance doesn’t feel unnatural, but it does shift the focus away from the midrange in a way that listeners who prioritize vocal intimacy may notice.
