Hi amigos

Can anyone tell me if the Fiio BR13's PEQ equalizer can be used with Spinorama EQ values? I mainly stream via BT Ldac.

Hola,

I have the BR13 and you can only manually set EQ. There is no function in the FiiO Control app to import files.

I've had the unit for about 6 months now and am very pleased with it's functionality. I also use a SMSL PO100 (2024) to connect to it via toslink so I can use the USB-spdif out from my DAP or other USB-c sources. It's the "heart" of my basement system and runs through an analog preamp for digital volume jump protection, before being sent to 2 mono Rekkr amps and my BS speakers & sub.

Sure. It has 10 bands of PEQ so no issues loading your values.

Can you help me to enable PEQ equalizer, I don't find any option ? (need to setup the EQ type PK/FS)

Sure. I assume you are NOT using the FiiO music app....if you are, that has EQ, like Hiby Music.

For the FiiO Control app, you need to make sure nothing is connected to the BR13 via BT, then connect to it via the Control app.

At the bottom, you can see the button for the EQ. Press that and then you must turn it on to adjust the settings. Top right button turns it on.

Then, press the "current setting", which is Jazz in my screenshot. This allow you to change to a "custom" setting, which is where you can enter your desired values.

Press Advanced button at top to asjust each setting individually.

The PEQ in the FiiO Music app works the same, if you use that to play your source.

EQ is top left in the music app.

HTH....Cheers.

I am having a problem on the iPad with the eq screen. Where the sliders appear to set gain there are no labels that show the frequency’s. It’s as though they are cut off. Also, I can’t simultaneously run the app and set the eq. Either the iPad is connected via Bluetooth or the app is connected. But I can’t seem to get both working at the same time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

One other thing, the analogue output doesn’t seem to have a lot of gain. I have to turn my amp up louder than normal. I also use a Pioneer up-lx500 with cds which has tons of gain. So I have to remember to turn the volume down when switching from the Fiio to the Pioneer.
