Great vocals, but supposedly AI generated.

One for the ignore list then? If you are going to post AI slop, please identify it as such.

If the entity that did it cannot be determined to be human, please keep it off of this site (unless you can positively identify it as ceated by either human or AI).
and if it is AI (even if it is just AI enhanced) please positively state so. In fact, just do not post it on this thread at all.
If someone is incapable of doing the singing that they do: LIVE and without AI enhancements, it's an absolute NO-GO.
Thank you for your consideration.

Good evening to all of you,
I have been a member of the ASR since January 2109 and I have posted on this specific forum over 180 suggestions for albums of beautiful female voices, (a type of music that I love deeply), many of which were new to the record market and which I want to underline, I propose only after having listened to the album in its entirety.
Having obtained hundreds of likes as proof of this commitment, I am now publicly pilloried by some members, for two interpretations which they identified as "presumably generated by artificial intelligence"!!
I don't have the possibility to confirm or deny these assertions, and sorry if I'm naive, I never thought that it could be an advanced technological device, but after a listen, particularly of Enlly Blue - The Weary Blues, there's no denying that it's a great vocal interpretation...
Having said this, some reactions seemed disproportionate to me, and I would have instead appreciated (because I have the impression that AI Music's presence on the record market will grow exponentially) an indication on how in the future we can control the human truthfulness of musical productions.
Translation done with Google, so sorry for any grammatical errors.

Following the cue from @Steve356 it took me a minute to search "Enlly Blue" and find posts on various fora referring to this persona and output as 'AI' generated. I also had a look at that material on Apple Music (which I generally use for streaming) and saw a rapid-fire sequence of generated and inconsistent (including similar-looking but non-identical female likenesses along with an unrelated male) cover art and no artist information (in other words, normal characteristics of generative slop). You can certainly do the same before responding to posts here. Not to do so seems unnecessarily obtuse. You may have posted 'AI' output unintentionally, but now you know, and are forewarned that such output exists, so keep an eye out for it.

Note that I've no objection to artists using computers as creative tools in production, including deliberately processing vocal elements (cf Arca or Charli xcx respectively). But mis-representing a generative persona as a human artist is objectionable, and you logically and reasonably elicited some objections along those lines, including mine.

I can see why you were attracted to/taken in by the generative Enlly Blue material. The 'AI' generates a superficially similar presentation, doesn't it? I know some are impressed by verisimilitude, but really it's just automated hack work. Some differences though: while Morris' presentation may be somewhat formulaic, the cover art at least shows the same human individual (and no random gentlemen) and the albums are separated chronologically. The artist also appears to have an actual history.

All that can be simulated—I'm assuming not in this case—but it would fail rudimentary checks. Apart from an initial defensive posture, you didn't respond to anyone with your own thoughts on posting generative material. Is there anything to be said beyond an apparent difficulty to recognise it?

Replying to Axo1989 regarding:"Is there anything to be said beyond an apparent difficulty to recognize it?" ....
I simply didn't know about the possibility of making entire albums with AI... and so I was captured by the particular vocal timbre of Cindy Curlwood and Enlly Blue and I thought I'd make them known with my posts..... blissful ignorance, the ancient Romans said!! :facepalm:o_O
Obviously, given that I am not a "dull person" nor interested in polluting the forum with non-human music, as hypothesized, (you could understand this by looking at the almost 200 record reports I posted), in the future I will make sure in advance, before proposing new record releases, that they have a real past.
I hope we can now close the diatribe and go back to listening....Female Vocals: Stunning Recordings You Love
Good evening to all of you :)

I recently discovered this Aretha Franklin album: Runnin' Out of Fools. For me, it's a forgotten gem. Beautiful songs, a great voice, and an excellent recording.

He made an honest mistake. This AI fakery is a new era for everyone so how about we cut him some slack and not make a federal case out of it?

I can see the ambiguity, but in that sentence I referred to misrepresentation by the purveyor, not by @BeepPeep_61. You'll see just previously in the same post I said "you may have posted 'AI' output unintentionally" which I think is the case, and the "slack" you request.

In that post and in the following I thought it interesting to look at similarities and differences between the generative material and the genuine/human, and did so in part for the reason you state, that this is a new phenomena. And in part to consider the "possibility to confirm or deny these assertions" that the material was generative. I was quite interested to see how the generative presentation re-produced cues that were congruent with the original/human material that poster was accustomed to, and how some cues were dissonant. Identifying those aspects of the material is germane to the issue and to the thread, I think.

I'm also quite literally responding to @BeepPeep_61's statement that "I would have instead appreciated ... an indication on how in the future we can control the human truthfulness of musical productions."
