Kd Lang covering Roy Orbison's Crying on MTV Unplugged in 1993.

I was a teenage boy, still clinging to Guns n Roses & Metallica, while trying to click with the grunge trend (never really did, other than enjoying a bit of Soundgarden & Garbage). My parents had recently signed up to satellite TV and I happened to catch this performance on MTV Unplugged and it blew the spots off my face. Still one of my all time favourites and started me on a lifetime love affair with strong female vocalists.

She did an earlier version in 89/90, but I much prefer this one. Power, control, tone, what a voice. Enjoy!
