Vika and Linda
25 years ago their self titled album utterly seduced me. It still has the same effect.
If you love First Aid Kit you will swoon over these sisters harmonising.

These recordings of Eva Zaicik and Veronique Gens sound fantastic with natural realism, without the artificial processing too often done with female vocalists. Of course, YouTube doesn't do justice to the quality of the recording; you really need the CD or high-res download.

I always loved great & unique female vocals.
Let me introduce you to one of the greatest ex Yugoslav divas & one of the capital masterpieces of popular music ever made there. Josipa Lisac & Rock Opera - Gubec beg.

Let's start with something which will be understood able to most of you;

& than switch to something more eccentric which actually describes her the best:

Sory about the quality, at least those are from original LP from 1975.
Best regards I hope you like it (I certainly do).

Been listening to Janis Joplin - Pearl, is this her best Album if not where to go next, or should I put this in a separate thread.

She was best live...but the boat sailed on that option decades ago, sadly :)

2013 remaster from the deluxe edition of this 1990 release. Tracy Thorn sounds perfect on my EQ'd Sennheiser 6XXs using Tidal. The production is smooth jazz based pop sans the usual run of the mill lyrics. I'd like to know what they used to record her vocals to make them sound like this thru headphones. Kudos to the engineers and the luscious mids the 6 series cans are known for.
