I very much like long form stories on albums rather than little short 3 minute songs that are each trying to be a hit.

I so agree, at least I want musical flow to the whole album that has a mix of song's that feel like chapters of a book regardless of lyrics. . Normally hate those that try to have a potential hit via endless songs, never much flow or theme.

But then I avoid streaming, up to about 10000 flac files and I never just listen to "a song". I listen to the whole album whatever the format. Drives me nuts when someone else is in control and spends more time finding their one good song off a album, rince repeat for a damn 8 hour road trip.

I guess when I'm not in control someone else is driving their car, free gas no driving. Still......

Not a dick about it, when I drive anyone can pick a album, no one including me can just pick a song.

MY car, my audio, I'm the audio dictator who rules with a iron fist.

OH, And sorry to fans but there is a NO JOURNEY rule among other such albums.
