Badu. Besides her unique voice, incredible pitch and harmonic knowledge, I like using some of her songs for system evaluation - the voice layering/spacing both musically and recording/mixing tends to reveal issues in setups (at least to my ears).

In my opinion, Roberta Flack had one of the finest voices of any female singer that ever lived.
I'm with you there Rick. Her, Aretha, Badu - I love the uniqueness' of their voices and how they each carry rhythm/cadence in their own ways.
