That would have created a direct link to ASR.
TestedAudio.com sounds like a backyard dealer of used goods.

Thank you for the feedback. Tested Audio is not doing anything related to science. The store is also not limited to ASCILAB products so that doesn't work either. VerifiedbyASR could work but broader customer base may not know who ASR is.

I do disagree. A business should operate at appropriate margins to be resilient and sustainable. Its suppliers, customers and employees deserve nothing less. The shareholders don’t have to pay themselves, though.

Well who do you think payed for the capital outlay to start such a business. Of course they should get paid if the business is profitable. Good of Amir to put the time, effort and probably money into this effort to bring tested and recommended audio products to this market. This would be one of the first places I visited if I needed audio gear. Would buy from Tested in a second.

I think you’ve misunderstood me. I was disagreeing with the comment suggesting that Amir is running his business on minimal margins and is not in it for the money.

I admire what Amir is doing with Tested and would also buy from him if I was based in the US.

Just wanted to wish good luck to Amir and his brother. Terrible environment to start this up due to the "T" factors. However, reputation and product quality should get you through.
Ascend speaker guy had a post somewhere about his ongoing challenges-this stuff is killing small audio businesses. And these companies are run as a hobby/ business/vocation-that sux.

It is better than any other seller that doesn't test. That is our value add in selling non-exclusive gear. And establishing a brand identity.

That is also at the core of ASR. Instead of opinion, we generate facts by measuring and testing.

For those of you who do NOT want air shipping, this is what it looks like when it comes by boat:

A less scrupulous distributor/dealer might be incentivized to charge the highest premium for shipping by sea as these samples will be fully 'broken in'.

I hope Amir's fellow investors are completely comfortable with how much money they may be leaving on the table.
