Feedback on Shipping from Manufacturing

Yes, in a very slow deliberate, curated way. Ultimately, I like to offer anything that I would personally recommend.
After listening to somewhat spurious information by audio magazines and audio shops for many years I am really enthused by this idea. I think this is a really great direction.

Given how expensive the speakers are (not saying they're not worth it, because they are), I would also be loath to spend a premium for airfare. I'd just stick out another month of my Ls 50 Metas.

Hi @amirm .. without offending the community: if I had been you I would have played the co-marketing card with Audiophonics and Ascilab An ASR-Audiophonics-Ascilab partnership would have been a hit and I am absolutely convinced of it. Even if Ascilab already distributes in Europe via Audiophonics, an alliance would have boosted the Ascilab brand image and you would have saved time and avoided the design of a website.... When you think about it, Audiophonics has always based its foundation on ASR's reputation

That would be VERY cool!
So many people look to your reviews for their purchasing decisions anyways.

Perhaps you could also include some high quality DIY too.
Harry @ Audio First comes to mind.
I would think to troeld gravelsen that is the BEST diy speaker man ... He has a large offering... Much larger than any speaker company

I would see a diy kit + enclosure package

In that case, its to audiophonics to expand in USA....
Audiophonics is linked to Chinese product for most, they select what they want to distribute and they could distribute much more we dont know about
They should invest in getting to USA and partnership with amir for testing officialy products .. but then that would be asr becoming a company

Completely messing with the thread but I guess thats just too many mouths to feed!? Plus it gets complicated. EG. If Amir has made a "really large order" he may have achieved a better price than others. I am not saying that he has I am just giving an example. Brand dilution or pollution, lack of control, liability, being just some others of what could be many problems.
Plus if you''ve ever been in business you'll know that distant "partnerships" are a pain in the wotsit!
cheers

Sorry Amir, I think I helped wreck your thread - but hey at least people are talking about the speakers again! :) :)

Fantastic news, congratulations ! Would it be possible to buy it from Canada and get it delivered to Toronto or only for ASR US based members?
Thanks. And yes, we have distribution rights for North America and not just US. The only issue is that we have to pay for tariffs when we import them so our cost basis goes up somewhat. In exchange, you would be dealing with us with similar time zone as far as support, order tracking, etc.

Exactly, co-marketing here would involve an ASR-Audiophonics platform on the US market. It's not complicated to do... I no longer have the figures concerning US Audiophonics exports, but it seems to me that it is quite significant.

If I were to buy these, I would not pay an extra $70 for faster shipping. These are likely not someone’s first speakers, so most would probably “rough it out” with their current setup until their order arrives.
I'd respectfully suggest that many potential owners aren't patient to wait a few months for delivery ;) $70 isn't a huge amount bearing in mind the distance involved. To ship a medium size loudspeaker pair (admittedly two boxes) from one UK destination to another is around forty quid or so ($50 or so?).

Good luck with the venture.

Gotta echo this take.
There's definitely another set of speakers, or more ( to the TrophyWife's chagrin ) here at the ranch.
So yeah, I'll just suffer a lil' bit longer and save the scratch.

I may be wrong (I sometimes am ), but it looks as though a Canadian customer would get dinged for both the US tariffs on Korean imports, and then again for the retaliatory tariffs by Canada on US goods! Hands up everyone who likes tariffs!

Just imagine if Amir got klippel data for Gravelsen speakers...
We'd get to see just how the best DIY stacks up against the major manufacturers!

That level of performance validation could change the entire speaker industry!
DIY would become a lot more popular with more exposure and data.

At some point, i would trust troels speaker sounding good... The guy knows what he is doing : speakers

I would trust him over 95% of manufacturers

I went for a seas diy speaker, king4roy mk3.. next will be a troels ambitious project..one day

There are two important conditions that exist when making these types of purchasing decisions, your perception of value and your experience (what your use too).

For those of us living on the other side of the world (Australia) you would pay the $US70 to ship a pair of speakers in a heartbeat, and think you got a bargain.
