Mastering is excellent, for once bass balance and surround are correctly setup. Musicians are also excellent.

Re: Jazz, the 2L Hoff Ensemble recordings are my favorite Mch's; Parity even has some nice really deep organ notes in it.
The Bluray versions of these include mic/musician layouts, with the listener in the midst of them, which I like a LOT.
I DL'd the Parity release (at that time, direct from 2L), but think I prefer getting the Bluray discs, which include digital copies (in flac & mp3 at various resolutions) to load on your PC.
