There's usually at least one priceless gem in these reviews and here it is 'There are moments when the cable unveils an emotional layer and establishes an intimacy with the violinist.'

That usually involves a police officer visit. When the violinist said "No" she meant no and your cables did it anyway. Off to the Gulag you go!

Quite an oldie. Just call it "Money saver" No need to explain.

The potted black box holds a 0,47uF capacitor. The wire on top goes to a LED.

Pure genius! A USB cable that has separate power and audio (ummm...data) connectors!
Gemini3.0-DSC_3292-head-1024x597.jpg

A snip at 529,00 €!!

And a suitably effusive review :)

"The dual-head cable really brought out a sense of musical ease, tonal richness, and rhythmic drive that only the best transports can hope to deliver. Very, very impressive performance."

Gold cable Executive LS 440 Kryo Bi-Wire

At first glance, a cable like many others.

This cable is particularly suitable for the so-called Krygogen treatment. Here, the materials are cooled down to -186 degrees Celsius.

This leads to a change in the atomic structure of the material, resulting in a higher uniformity of the atoms. The result: a lower resistance in the cable with - in comparison audible - sonic advantages.

Is this snake-oil or just high-end ridiculousness?
I noticed their ad in TAS today and took a look at the website out of curisoity.
No spec's listed beyond size and weight ?
Just from the tube complement it can't offer very much power.
For a home theater - music rig you better have very efficient speakers.
Just a very weird component IMHO.

Not just weird. Ridiculously so.
(and I like vacuum tubes for audio -- but this is nutso)

I like that on the company's website, the very real woman Lucy B. says in a testimonial that this amplifier knocked her system "on it's butt" (sic).

At least it works as an amp.

The other stuff in the thread is more snake oil.
(Plus it gets cold in Canada.)
Well... it might. It has a bunch of... what, maybe EL84s on the top?
push-pull EL84 will get you (and here's where @SIY might pitch in!) 12 to 20 watts (ish).

Check those "specifications" :)

No claim of... well... much of anything.
Bizarre.

Given the striking beauty of this box it deserves to be hidden well away. Given the tubes it should be a well ventilated dungeon.

If you look closely, then I believe that they call “the dungeon” a “grill” in the screenshot.
So it is more of a prison cell or cage, or gibbit.

LOL,
I've sent them an email requesting the units cost and it's power out specs.
Inquiring minds and all that. ;)
As far as that case, that is an el-cheapo made with a plasma cutter and metal break, either painted
or power coated, Surely not high-end.

I can't imagine they will sell enough to stay in business. Tube buyers are fairly scarce and then you have to figure how many of them are going to tube their home theater system. It has to be down to very few people who would do this. I think they will be bankrupt soon.

Not to mention that, as far as I can tell, a large part of the appeal of tube amps is the way they make a visual display.

If a person wanted to make an all tube home theater setup, an 12-in-1 amp probably wouldn't be very attractive. Having 12 individual mono amps, with high polished enclosures and steam punk aesthetics, on display would give a much more potent impression of mysticism and allure.
