It's not just the audiophools who are being sold snake oil -- musicians are also being targeted with pointlessly pricey stuff with no real benefit: Zaolla Silverline ZMC Microphone Cable
I thought this thread would be a good place to post this Email I got from Upscale Audio. Going with all Advertisement is good Advertisement another shout out to ASR. Maybe people are starting to ask them uncomfortable questions?

Simple. Ask them if they did that A/B blind. If they didn't, it's still a claim nobody has to believe.
I much preferred it when I could find the odd dealer or salesperson who spent their time working out what items worked together based on actual things like power handling, impedence, gain and how devices actually worked, rather than this nonsense. If I listed the ten worst systems I've ever heard, all ten would have been in "upmarket hifi dealer" demonstration rooms. And yes, I have attended shows and heard what happens in those hotel rooms that get used.
... for the record, only one of those dealers is still in business, in different premises, and I've not been back to check if they've improved. Anywhere that can actually demo a system properly, I'll even put up with the woo.
Fast cars are dangerous only if they are driven in a dangerous manner or they have design flaws that make them dangerous. When properly designed and driven responsibly by someone who can control the highly performing car, they are no more dangerous than any other less capable car.
Btw don’t click the video they get play count and add revenue…..
There are certain con artists whose videos I will not watch, including this clown. They sure have unintended entertainment value but they gain something for every play ?
Utterly insane claims for their "technologies", including "oscillation alingment cards" which improve your listening experience by keeping your red blood cells from clotting due to 5G radiation (!).
While I sometimes, perversely, enjoy reading claims from the cable people, I was unable to dive deeper into this vortex. The denial of reality here is not limited to cable-related physics (which is bad enough), but obviously extends to pretty much all of consensus reality. It goes beyond amusing right into scary.
A salesman at an audio store recently 'bragged' about having worked for MIT Cables. I almost pointed out that that made it hard to take anything he said seriously.
