Extreme Snake Oil

This is just to much, 43,199 EUR for a speaker cable: https://www.referenceaudio.se/produkt/jorma-design-prime-hogtalarkabel-bi-wire?variant=30691

Product description:
Jorma Prime established Jorma Audio as one of the most respected high-end cable companies. Launched as a “no expense spared” series, it garnered critical acclaim worldwide.
The cables are crafted from the finest materials, including gold and ultra-fine copper (0.5 mm²), with conductors that took over six months to develop.
Bybee Slipstream Quantum Purifiers eliminate inaudible noise, undetectable by typical test bench instruments, delivering previously unattainable resolution.
Jorma Prime offers natural, transparent sound and is one of the finest cable series available on the market.
All Prime cables:
• Conductor insulation material: Uncolored PTFE
• Conductor material: 99.999999% pure copper
• Conductor: Multi-strand with ceramic fiber filler
• Compression sleeve material: Polyolefin
• Shielding material: Tinned copper
• Braided sleeve: PET
• Purifier: Bybee Slipstream Quantum
Eliminating inaudible noise is like meta-Zen, man...

Exactly. So the analogy here would be me buying a Rolex and educating the public how much better time is recorded by my obviously less capable device than by your Casio G-Shock :)
Also, nobody owning a Rolex goes on Internet forums trying to justify their purchase based on its ability to keep time.

Those products arnt sold by lies. No one who buys a rolex expects it to keep better time, they expect it to impress others. Same with the rest of your list. Audiophools actually think a $10k cable will sound better.
It's not that clear, the qualitative argument (which is non-existent) plays a role in both cases. We also sell speakers by saying that they are "better" when they are only different.

At least the luxury goods provide a useful function *, such as a car, and an expensive car can provide added features* 2 that are useful, such as additional accessories and measurably better performance. Jewelry's only function is to look good, and it succeeds at that. The fancy cable's supposed function is to carry an audio signal in a better way than an inexpensive but competent one can. The fancy cable fails at that. It's no better electrically than the cheap but still competent one, and in fact could be worse if it alters sound quality in any way at all.
Fast cars attract a lot of people but are dangerous as Ralph Nader said.
Wires and jewelry are part of the same madness.
* & 2 = ?

Enron could learn from another old product, which has recently been unleashed in an upgraded version with a more witty advertisement (more technobabble for us on ASR).

SANS ICS HyperEncabulator

This was amazing. Also. Here's the original video that was shown briefly at the beginning with this same actor.

I think this - https://schallwand.com/Redaktionelle-Seite belongs here

Man! There is some truly whack stuff on that site!

" PUT ON AND DIVE IN. UNCOVER UNBELIEVED DEPTHS AND SUBTLE DETAILS IN THE RECORDINGS!

Each individual bridge is processed separately, and two years of research were carried out to ensure that the frequency bands do not mix. Like a keyboard from 0 to 50,000 Hz, each note is cleaned. The exposure time is a few days, as a huge cleaning process is started. The end result is a reproduction over and over again with more crescent and details in the reproduction.
Everything becomes more tangible in the room before your eyes. Fascinating.
Can be used on and under all devices and speakers."

I use these for grooming my dog.

Which somehow seamlessly gets us to a market review of "audiophile pets". Any recommendations and, more importantly, placement in the room?

I had a Great Pyrenees who did fine service as a broadband absorber. When I'd place her midway between the two speakers and forward about a meter, the imaging was greatly enhanced. My current dog, a Sheepdog mix, serves quite well but without the same low frequency absorption as the Pyr.

I'd highly recommend Pyrs for this application.

No disrespect, but here we want to review the expensive, high-endish stuff. You see where bargaining gets you ;)

But we can admire the quality of machining of the parts of a watch movement which is a marvel of ingenuity, the precision of the assembly of the case, the oiled seal which makes this watch truly waterproof to significant pressures. ...It doesn't tell the time any better but it is a little masterpiece of engineering and craftsmanship that the grandson of the first owner will always be able to use...
For hi-fi cables we are far from that... the only exception that I would make in hi-fi is LP turntables and their arms which can be marvels of design and machining... their rotation will not be more precise than those equipped with direct drive and precise regulation and their arm will not really be more precise but it will be a beautiful piece too...
I am not a customer of either of them but I can admire...
Not a cable!
