Extreme Snake Oil

300 hours of burn-in creates quantum channels in the metallic atomic framework that reside in the transmission skin effect in the human
audible wave spectrum of 8.0 Hz (Hurts )to 35,000 Hz; the result is truly sublime! Carefully controlled listening tests with legally blind evaluators demonstrated uncolored adherence to the wavelengths homogrified by the burn-in!

That’s completely ridiculous everyone knows 600 hours minimum.

"A high quality belt-drive turntable removes 90% of the record surface noise and allows many times the musical information to come through compared to older direct drive turntables."

So clearly wrong that the users on that forum could tell.

And some of them are still talking about how proper motor isolation and platter bearing can somehow remove a bit of what is by definition on the record.

This is from shf, which is a receptacle for stupidity that I was banned from a long time ago (who said phew?). Like stereophile. They forgot to kick me out of Analog planet and I joined Tracking angle because of Mikey. Because he never censored me. And his music articles are good.

"Inspired by RCA’s vacuum tube circuit designs from the 1930s, the Andros has been engineered to bring you the clarity and depth of the original recording [...] As we went through testing our panel of audiophiles marveled at hearing subtle nuances, discovering new things in recordings they’d played many, many times. They appreciated its clear stereo image with maximum channel separation and minimal phase distortion."

Price USD $5,900

Holy shit, I had no idea it was that expensive! I assumed cheap from the schematic and description. It is a stunningly incompetent design.

Words are inadequate to the task of explaining the Andros

I have a few words to explain it.

Good heavens. Dude keeps rambling on about how a USB cable "changes the whole soundtage" and all.

There's even a gem hidden in the comments:

300 hours burn-in time for a USB cable :facepalm::D

That dude is absolutely cable obsessed.
I remember one of his videos visiting and audio store and the first thing his camera did crawling around, and every single room was go behind the equipment and lovingly, traverse along every cable and annunciating whatever brand it was.

I’ve also tussled with him a bit online. He’s not very pleasant.

"The Voodoo Streamer Server began with the intention of overcoming the last significant barrier separating digital audio from the best turntables and reel-to-reel tape decks. Namely, a sense of compression where digital streaming sounds flatter and with high-frequency limitations when directly compared to the best LPs and tapes."
Ôµh ÿéàh !

That paragraph is such a hilariously, transparent and cynical catnip for audiophiles, making sure to hit every audiophile trope possible.

“ shameless” is the word that always comes to mind when I read their stuff.
