I think Christmas ornaments would be offended with that...lol. They are supposed to be room tuning devices. It was a free trial so I took it. Made measurements, saw no difference. Heard no difference. What are those things, Christmas tree ornaments?
There's a UK forum where the owner swears by stuff like this, starting with the fuses. I've rarely ventured back, as the forum regulars mostly seem to follow a similar trend and I'd rather walk away in these more recent days than offer a challenge. They can afford to and they obviously love playing with the gear, so there ya goIt is made by synergistic research, a well known and long term scammer, rip off artist and cheater of people in audio products. They have a reputation as being one of the top few companies in selling massive amounts of rip off, senseless, and worthless gear. It is a shame they are still in business.
That'll be the same place that reckoned ultimate digital replay required a spend of at least ten grand? There's a UK forum where the owner swears by stuff like this, starting with the fuses. I agree with your posts ,except for the use of "idiots". These people are not: They know what they're doing; When one of these B.S. "products" achieves some notoriety, the returns and profits are substantial.
Let's take the example of those "Grouding Boxes". I mean, really how much does a wooden box and some dirt cost? By the way, this is an accurate description of one of the EntreQ boxes priced at $3400. One of these was reviewed by @Amir.
The strange thing is that there exist such special mixture for electrical grounding .. in Power Electrics: It can happen that the soil in a given site doesn't provide good grounding.. Special compound, mostly dirt, is added to the soil to improve the performance of the grounding system .
And exemple from :
nVent ERICO Quickfill No-Mix Ground Enhancing Backfill:

These are often used with electrical ground rods...
The guys from High End Audio (HEA) takes the notion and peddles B.S. with it. EnteQ Olympus is such a B.S. product: About 80 Kg of dirt in a wooden box for $20,000... Of course the grounding terminal are silver...

They are literally raking profits.
Peace.
Charge a premium for it being organicThat much better than taking my garden refuse to the recycling center . I encase in a ply box and sells it for 20k neat![]()
That is what we have today as the new, modern customer, primitives not knowing how anything works, tapping on their i-phones and driving around in electric cars.
That is one our society's biggest problem. So much BS on the internet that people believe anything. Then it is parroted by those ignorant people and it spreads around the net as "fact", The more it is restated the more it is an undisputed fact! We are all doomed by stupidity. To say it in a much nicer way, we are led astray by people who don't know any better.Doesn't help that the internet has made it extremely easy to make BS spread like wildfire.
Good ol' BS! There's a lot of it about. At least I never have to worry about a shortage of it.That is one our society's biggest problem. So much BS on the internet that people believe anything. I fail to see the problem with this. You also get great content that would have never reached you when there was expense and gatekeeping. It use to be that one had to put up significant money and/or effort in order to be in a position to publish or disseminate information. The money and effort may have been expended getting education, experience and credentials for a specific field. Now any idiot with access to an internet connection can push their wacko ideas about any subject to the masses in 30 seconds.
Yes, we have access to a broader spectrum of ideas now and that's great for those who are capable of "separating the wheat from the chaff". The problem is not everyone can do that and some simply don't want to do that. Many of those people have the opportunity to vote, teach, govern, give advice, etc.I fail to see the problem with this. You also get great content that would have never reached you when there was expense and gatekeeping.
Separating the wheat from the chaff is on you. "Nobody needs 28 brands of shampoo," said one particular would-be dictator. Thank you, I prefer having ME be able to make the choices.
edit: and having costs and gatekeeping did not exactly prevent the massive spread of stupidity. See: Jean Hiraga, Absolute Sound...
The problem is not everyone can do that and some simply don't want to do that.
Do not imagine, comrades, that leadership is a pleasure! On the contrary, it is a deep and heavy responsibility. No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?
