extract best performance and sound of phone

To get the most out of the sound quality and performance possible with the KZ EDC Pro and EDX Pro, is it more advantageous to purchase a DAC, tips or cable? I have the silver and bronze cables and the original tips for these phones

I use a Sandisk Clip Jam mp3 player or a PC with an ASRock B75M-DGS R2.0 motherboard

A different DAC or different cables won't make any difference unless you aren't getting enough volume without distortion, and then a DAC with a more powerful amplifier will go louder. (It would be the amplifier rather than the DAC itself.)

Different tips may change the sound.

Try using some EQ (equalization = fancy tone controls). With the computer you can use an add-on EQ which can give you more flexibility than whatever is built-into your audio player application.

Different in-ears will always make a difference (better or worse). These got a very favorable review and they look unbeatable for sound quality (if your tastes align with the standard preference curve). I don't know how they compare to what you've got and I don't know what kind of difference or improvement you're looking for.
