Hey - we're redoing our kitchen, and the plan right now is an Eversolo DMP-A6 plus amp (Douk A5?) and 4 in-ceiling speakers (RSL C34E? or KEF TBD?). Current setup is Mu-so Qb streaming qobuz, but the kids and my wife use the alexa because it's easier and just works (most of the time). I think the screen on the Eversolo plus the idea that it's more of a standalone device that's less dependent on phone/app is the main selling point for me. I'm now considering the Eversolo Play because of the built-in amp just to keep it simple and not have to hide an amp somewhere.
I don't see a lot of comparison between the two, and there's a lot of love for the A6, would I be sacrificing a lot going with the Play? Is there a more appropriate amp that I should consider if I stick with the A6? Open to other suggestions as well.
