I don’t think so you can do itcould anyone kindly let me know please? thank you![]()
that's very unfortunate for my use case :/ thank you for answering me though!I don’t think so you can do it
"out" or "in" ?could anyone kindly let me know please? thank you![]()
Salut Alain, and thank you"out" or "in" ?
In, the both is ok
Out, I don't know because I returned my A6 to audiophonics.
I don't like that the sound is cut off when leaving an entry to return to streaming (this forces you to return to the menu).
I'm going to ask your question to a friend who has an A6.
I imagine you ask the question before buying one, otherwise you would have tried
Best regards
Alain
Salut Alain, and thank youyes, both outputs at the same time
i really would appreciate it if your friend could check indeed, would be very kind of you both
I believe they are fed simultaneously as there is only a single "SPDIF"output selection that identifies both, of course the SPDIF output selection is only available when Internal Player is the selected input source.could anyone kindly let me know please? thank you![]()
@mirror88 That is great news , and the deciding factor for not returning the unit back to the vendor.
A few more AIRPLAY bugs to report , The Cambridge CXN V2 in comparison does not exhibit the same behavior as below during Airplay
* Apple Music pauses when making or receiving calls.
* Apple music pauses when opening certain apps simultaneously on iphone eg Decibel Meter.
* Apps like instagram which have sound will also play simultaneously when opened on the phone during Airplay playback.
Do you think there is a chance Airplay Lip Sync issue can be resolved via an update or that is just not possible?
Thank you so much
well, i wanted to feed active speakers with the coax out and use the toslink output to go into a miniDSP 2x4 for subwoofer integration.Out of curiosity, what is the use case where you need two digital outputs active at the same time?

It's not just the analog outs, also the digital outs - each have their own volume control settings. I believe it's already on the list for the next update.I saw earlier that the VU meters only work with the analog out when it’s outputting beyond a certain dB output.
The VU meter doesn’t really mean very much in this context, so I would think it’s more of an audio visualization than anything serious.
Is that still the case, and can Eversolo, @mirror88 , add in a normalized/dB ceiling setting so that the VU meters can be “used” at lower volumes?
We are in order on this functionality of a visualization of a replica of a vu-meter, only two brands offer this Hi-Fi Rose and Eversolo on the audio network player market, if someone has an Eversolo and a Yamaha 1200-2200 or 3200 type amp which has real VU meters, I will ask a friend who has one, when he returns from vacation to compare, since I have a Rose I will see if it is the same between the two devices (DMP and Rose)....It's not just the analog outs, also the digital outs - each have their own volume control settings. I have a Yamaha A-S1100 with meters, but I'm not really understanding what you are asking for or suggesting to compare ?We are in order on this functionality of a visualization of a replica of a vu-meter, only two brands offer this Hi-Fi Rose and Eversolo on the audio network player market, if someone has an Eversolo and a Yamaha 1200-2200 or 3200 type amp which has real VU meters, I will ask a friend who has one, when he returns from vacation to compare, since I have a Rose I will see if it is the same between the two devices (DMP and Rose)....
You connect your DMP in analog to your Yamaha 1100 and you put the DMP on function vu-meters and you compare the two devices at the level of the vu-meters and look at the two visualization of vu-meters...I have a Yamaha A-S1100 with meters, but I'm not really understanding what you are asking for or suggesting to compare ?

I would actually prefer to see a spectrum analyzer setting, which measures the digital file output, design similar to the Topping D70 Pro Sabre:I saw earlier that the VU meters only work with the analog out when it’s outputting beyond a certain dB output.

Yeah, my Bluesound Node 2 auto-switches when I turn on my TV (HDMI input), start streaming Airplay2 from my phone, etc. and it is a REALLY nice feature. Would love to see it (along with an HDMI ARC input) on the DMP-6A!My current, non streaming dac, does this, and it is actually quite useful. Especially with other members of the family. Sometimes a child will switch the input to something un-used, and then when I stream something via Chromecast connected to the optical in, thankfully the DAC will auto switch and play. Just one less thing to worry about. Or perhaps the wife puts on a CD, which is connected to the coaxial digital input. Since it auto switches, I can tell my family "just put in the CD and press play". For many non tech people, the less buttons they have to press the better.
So I would suggest, please consider adding this as an optional feature. (I know Eversolo employees are in this forum!)
