From memory, scroll up to the top to find another back arrow. That’s the one you want. UX total fail, I’ve been caught numerous times too.
You can press the Navigation of Path.

@mirror88 does eversolo have a GitHub page, maybe owners can log their bug findings, screen shots, videos etc so that it can be tracked easier. we can then all view what was raised in a central location. Rather than lots of posts from numerous forums etc.. just a thought

Screenshot please
Aah, no, you’re right. I kept pressing the straight left arrow at top left of screen which takes you out of Files. The curved arrow scrolls away but when I press that it does lose the place I’ve scrolled to ☹️

@mirror88 .You must have seen the posts addressing issues with the app disconnecting frequently from the streamer. I have been very enthusiastic about this product since I received it in beginning of June. I love the sound and features and most of the functionalities including the VU meters. However having the unit constantly disconnecting from the app makes all other positives void. Are there any fixes for this problem on the way and are you aware of this? I am using my iPhone 12 or iPad to connect with current software with the same result. Same WiFi network of course and strong signals. Same with ethernet cable. I always have to go to the A6 to restart it. If I have a faulty unit I would like to know this too before giving up on the A6. Thanks.

@bargainguy I'm not sure why I was able to add it to my Harmony 650 and you aren't. I have a brand new spare - when I have a few extra minutes, I'll try to add it to that remote to see if I can or if I now get the same message as you & enrico.

Do you have the EverSolo remote? If so, the work-around could be to learn the commands from it (although I'm not sure if that will work as I think the other buttons are Bluetooth only and just the power is IR).

Well I just tried setting up my spare (it's a 665). I'm getting the same message as @bargainguy and @enricoclaudio. Definitely strange.
I was also trying to use the copy settings from old to new remote to see if the EverSolo transfers over but kept getting a communication error with their database. May try again later tonight or tomorrow.

:DOhhh bravo bravo, that's good news :D.

Thank you to this incredible team that listens customers.;)

You have solved the problem of the absence of sound when changing input to return to the streamer (without going through the menu) ?

If so, I'm running to buy an A6 again from Audiophonics !!!
Best regards
Alain

Thank you for answering me with pictures!
But that doesn't help me.
Here is more detail. "Eki Shaw" from zidoo had answered me:

Yes, when the A6 switches to other input sources, it will pause the streaming music.
When switching back to the built-in player, you need to press play to resume playback.
And we have transferred your suggestion to our engineers to evaluate:)

Let him be thankful
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my example the TV, my PC and A6 are working at the same time.
Optical = Television
USB-C = PC
A6 = favorite radio station radioparadise (or Tidal)

If I switch from A6 (radioparadise) to Optical, the sound changes. Perfect
If I switch from USB-C to Optical, the sound changes. Perfect
If I switch from Optical to USB-C, still ok
But
But if I choose the A6 again when coming from USB-C or Coax or Optical, I have nothing left.
I have to go to the menus. So manipulation again.
It's not practical or ergonomic.

In summary, if I listen in streaming and I go to another active input, I have the sound of the source.
If I go from any active source to the A6, I have nothing left. No sound. I have to go into the menus.

By default, you should automatically return to what you were listening to in streaming.

It's possible ?

I use, I had been fooled several times, if the folders are well organized on the hard disk, no problem it works, @mirror88 is there a plan to improve navigation in a future update ?
Delighted to report @mirror88 and the software team emailed confirming they are already working on a fix for this in the control app.
Screenshot below simply explains what's happening to avoid any confusion. Back arrowing skips a step (Artist).
Reassuring to see a department listening to owners and acting quickly to improve their product.

For those interested test of the DMP A6, what is written about the sound quality of the device with its DAC

How to cast audio from an Android phone to the MDP-A6? It seems that the DMP-A6 is not a Chromecast capable device. Thanks.

Wireless:
bluetooth (worse than chromecast)
or
an audio chromecast on the optical input of the A6 (it's very good)

Wired:
A USB socket is dedicated to smartphones
