Is there anything with the remote that you cannot do with the Ios (Ipad in my case) app ?
I get mine from Amazon on Thursday (from last batch)...

Apparently, just power on/off...The remote can do that, and the app cannot

i received mine today
I will report back on its dlna capabilities in case anyone else wants to use this feature.
Apparently Eversolo learned from the zidoo dlna initial problems that occured with the neo and used it to use it within the a6. I can report the dlna implementation used for the a6 works well and is visible by my other dlna devices. Jriver works fine as controlling software if you dont like the included app.

I received my unit today as well and am trying to set up DLNA with JRiver server. I can't get past the instructional screen when trying to set up DLNA using the Eversolo app. The 3 dot menu shown doesn't exist? Would you mind sharing how you set it up?

Works fine with BubbleUPnP and JRemote but I'd like to use the Eversolo app.

Sorry, not following where you are having the problem either thay or are misunderstanding your question. Can you show me a screen shot of what you are referring to regarding 3 dots? For me, there was no setting up dlna in the eversolo app. It was visible within my devices in jriver after turning on.

Sorry, I should have been more clear.

From the main screen of the Eversolo smartphone app, select Streaming, then scroll down and press DLNA. Instructions will be shown with 4 steps to follow. The first step shows a balloon around a 3 dot menu which appears to be on the now playing screen. I can't find this screen with the 3 dots?

Also, going back to the main screen, If I select UPnP under streaming, the JRiver server shows up but after pressing on the server no audio or playlists appear.

I can play to the DMP-A6 zone from within the JRiver windows app or with JRemote on my phone. I can also play to the DMP-A6 using BubbleUPnP but I can't figure out how to do it using the Eversolo smartphone app?

Thanks for your help.

After a week of listening I have to say I love the A6 more and more each day. Don't worry I'm not going to say burned in, it's because as time goes by I listened to more variety of music. Everything else including the interface and app just works. This is one of my best purchase of an audio piece in a long time.

Hello everyone, I hadn't paid attention when taking this streamer, I hadn't seen that there was no analog input... so I can no longer use my turntable... do you know of a phono preamp that I could use with an optical output? The two that I found from the Pro-Ject brand obtained poor results when passed through the hands (and ears!) of Amir.

I spotted this one at audiophonics : ORIGINAL AUDIO OPA-Q1.1, it is quite strange in terms of its shape and I have no info on the brand... and moreover it remains expensive for the use that I will have of it.

The DMP was never presented as an all purpose pre-amp. Using an analogue to digital converter to connect your turntable is a bizarre approach. I'm upgrading my system while I wait for my DMP to arrive; I bought a Schiit Freya S to take care of my analogue sources.

Interesting. This must be something new as the number of phono preamps with SPDIF outputs is pretty small. Which suprises me as the number of really good DACs out there makes a product like this quite nice so that you can play around with different DACs, yet, have the phono cartridge loading and gain options necessary to enjoy MC cartridges.

You can look for used PS Audio Nuwave Phono Converters as they have a digital Coax output. Parks Audio Puffin can also have SPDIF output....but are very hard to find and backordered until later this year. I've tried a Pro-ject phono preamp with toslink out and I thought it sucked. So not a lot of choices. This OPA-Q1.1 is odd shaped but might be a nice option.

Well I could not be more pleased, initial impressions are amazing. XLR directly into my A21+ 2ch amp, the Denon 6500 now takes a back seat for movies. Setup took some time, but could not have been easier or more straight forward. Sounds amazing, no problems here! The Cast operation is great, volume control is well placed off to the right when App is open. Excellent job EVERSOLO! Thanks also to Summit HiFi for delivering my DMP-A6M.

Finally got my remote. Used it to enter my A6 manually into Harmony Hub. Anyone know what the last circular button (rotated square with dot in center) before the volume up/down button does?

There isn’t a piece of paper showing a diagram of the remote with the label for the button functionalities?

Yesterday for the first time I did feel like I want a remote, was lying lazily after a tiring day, want to turn on the A6 but I have to get up and walk to it.

Hmm, I can turn on my Denon using its app on my phone, EverSolo should do the same.

Too funny : ) So many complain about its value. The first very high-quality streamer at under $900 and it still doesn’t meet with approval. Its a helluva deal for everything it does, and so well. I ordered the Master Edition because it ‘highlights the dignity’. LoL, just kidding! Besides the gold accents, the Master Edition has 2 Femto clocks and upgraded opamps built in. For $1,200 a kick-arse streamer that competes with the top shelf streamers. It has a good DAC and will sound great at that, but state of the art performance can be had with a good outboard DAC. Should arrive soon..

I see complaints about some small things that have and will be easily fix with a firmware update (it'll only improve on an already excellent product), but never about value (except for the Master Edition).

First, my value evaluation of the Eversolo streamer based on my needs. I may be outside of the norm, since they are pretty simple. Just a bit perfect steamer with SOTA DAC. No Roon support, no need for unit display ((preferred app control/dispaly) and no need for file management..

So if I look top-down from a Rose 250A or Lumia U2 perspective and used the build-in DAC, it look like a good value. It seems to even beat the new Bluesound Node X. So good.

But if I look more botton-up and would like more of a SOTA DAC like the new SMSL/Toppings with ES9039PRO, I struggle with its value. It seems if you use its "near SOTA" build-in DAC, it is a good value. But if one upscales and use an external DAC , it becomes a nice bit perfect stream with a display.

If it had the Z8 DAC equivlaent already or even with the newer chips, I would be more interested. I am sure we will see at some point a DMP-8A with a different DAC design.

If it helps, just my thoughts based my observations.

Sorry for the delay.
Thanks for the additional details. I see what you are trying to do.
When i did the same thing as you re dlna streaming or upnp streaming, i got nothing so i stopped. I control/play everything on jriver on my pc or gizmo. All i am able to do with the eversolo app is see the currently playing song with album art and either skip back, forward or stop playing. Nothing more.
Bottom line is i am having the same issues as you. IT doesnt matter for me since i dont want to use eversolo app. Sorry i couldnt be of any help (other than confirmation)
