Even though you told me, I confirm that RCA and XLR outputs can work together.

So, RCA for the active subwoofer and XLR for the signal sent to the power amp.

I want to clarify this because all the dealers in my area said it was impossible. I had to contact the Italian distributor, who confirmed it could be done...

Such misinformation from all the stores is absurd!

Thanks again to everyone for the helpful and precise information you provide.

I got around to running a filter from REW with multiple measurement points, and the results are yet again a new level of excellence. Highly recommend taking the 10 minutes to do this if you haven't already!

Can anyone recommend a good video/tutorial on how to use REW to create what is needed to upload to a DMP-A6? I understand with a recent firmware update that the original A6 can now do room correction. Very much want to try this given my terrible living room setup. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I can't help you with this.

However, the new DMP-A6 Gen2 model also comes with a dedicated microphone; I think it does everything automatically.

One day, I'd like to replace the Wiim Ultra with it...

Can the XLR and RCA outputs both be active at the same time? I would like to run dual subwoofers from the RCA outputs if they both can be active at the same time
I second this question, can xover, delay and eq be applied to those separately to XLR ? So in case I want to integrate 2 subs properly

Considering the issues with the Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 power supply, what do you think is the best way to manage it when it is not in use (e.g., during the night)? Is it best to turn it off using the switch on the rear panel? I imagine, however, that there are defective units in circulation that are bound to break down sooner or later.

I bought an Eversolo DMP A6 some 2 days ago and tried it eversince. I like very much the sound it produces, but it seems to have some bugs and, more, seems that the firmware updates builds on that.
1. I have issues playing it over WIFI. I tried AirPlay2 from my iphone, I tried Tidal application in Eversolo application, I tried Tidal Connect over the A6. The same issue, music stops playing after 5-10 minutes, sometimes less sometimes more. All of the above, using the iPhone. Surprisingly I downloaded the Eversolo application for iPad on my Mac (it works!) and it woks fine with Tidal, no interruptions! I am puzzled. I understand that this issue with interruptions when playing over WIFI is a long time standing issue which seems can not be resolved? I tried everything - cleared cache, rebooted the sistem, reinstalled applications, created 2 independent 2.4G and 5G frequencies in my router, forced Eversolo to connect to 2.4, allocated fixed channels in the router etc. Nothing worked, except for this situation when I command the Eversolo from my Mac. Isn't this weird?
2. Today, I received a firmware update which I installed. Now the physical volume control on the Eversolo device would not increase volume, would only decrease it no matter I turn the knob left or right. firmware version 1.5.30. Anyone experienced this?
I like the sound Eversolo produces, I like it design, so I would like to keep the device. But these software issues make me think twice. I still can return the product so any ideas/advices/comments would be welcome.
Thanks

Maybe WiFi transmission rate is low?

Hi, I have the same player, it’s not the Eversolo, it will be you wifi, try wired, I had similar issues until I switched to wired. It’s faultless wired.

I have also been using dpm 6 master edition almost daily for over a year and a half. Everything has worked very well. The volume control works digitally for digital active speakers via the coax connector. It also works when I use analog output with XLR cables and Eversolo's own DAC chip. Everything works both from the volume control on the front of the device and with its own remote control, or with an Apple tablet. The streaming service is Apple Music and Classical, and I have my own ripped 4,000 CD albums stored on a 2TB hard drive connected to the bottom. Only the covers of my own ripped albums are visible on the TV screen when using Apple TV and its own remote control. Nothing else is possible at the moment.I have the latest update myself, and it has not been bad in any way.

Does it make sense to buy the Master Edition if the A6 will be connected via USB to the Z8 DAC?
Absolutely not:
biggest improvement of the ME was the femto-clocks, that in the case of USB connection would never come into play: UAC2 is asynchronous, and uses the destination device's clock to (re)synchronize the audio data.
