I have an A6 "original", and I have noticed a recent update to the iPad app that I run on my iPad Pro... note that this app appears to have been updated in the past several weeks.
The update itself seems OK, and the new layout is... different - no problem that I notice, except for the fact that about half the time, when I start the app, it immediately shuts down!
I get an app-sized blank window, for a second or two, and then poof - no app.... if this happens the first time I try to use the app on a given day, it will stay that way for as long as I care to try using it. The next day, it
may work - and once it starts a day working, it will stay that way until I shut it down.
So I am getting pushed to using my [Android] phone app for controlling my DMP-A6, which works, but is not nearly as nice to use as the iPad version.
Has anyone else observed this bug?
In case someone is about to ask, I use my DMP-A6 over WiFi, accessing a file share on my Synology NAS containing lossless local music files - and have
never had an issue with WiFi (
vs wired) - of course, the Android version of the app on my phone has no trouble, even if the iPad one is currently being uncooperative.
