Do Eversolo device support AlexaCast, ie. being able to use it as an endpoint for music playback initiated from Alexa?

If not, why is this not an integration, since it is supported on all Wiim devices?

They do not. Another area where Wiim is superior. Also no chromecast.
I really wish Wiim would release a premium version of the Ultra—something like an ‘Ultra Pro Plus’—that would make the decision a no-brainer, as Eversolo has too many compromises.
Although I do feel your frustration, shall it not, the fact it is supported on all Wiim devices does not make it mandatory for all other manufacturers...
Wiim != Eversolo
You’re right—it’s not mandatory for other brands to have AlexaCast or Chromecast like Wiim. But hey, if they’re not interested in my money, who am I to argue?

Another option is the Bluesound Node Icon—a potential ‘better-than-Wiim but less-sexy-than-the-A6’ model. But let’s be real: BluOS’s Alexa integration is so bad on my NAD M10 V2 that it’s practically comedy, so I don't really want to give Bluesound more money for their failed experiments. Back to waiting for Wiim to release their Pro Plus Plus, I guess.

Don't blame it on the product. It is as is. If it does not fulfill your estimations, look at others. Same as it was before for several decades/centuries in any case ever.

If I put an external dac on the Eversolo, will I lose the PEQ option?

Why would you want to add an external dac to make the sound worse?
Keith

Why would it spoil the sound if you add a better/more expensive DAC than the one built into the Eversolo?
I want to add more organic/analog sound and reduce that digital feel.

The A-6 is audibly transparent ( see Amir’s review) so the only way the sound could be changed would to be by adding a poorly designed dac which has audible distortion.

Does anybody have the answer to the question above?

EDIT:
Chat GPT give me the answer:

Yes you can, on the A-6 you can configure USB, hdmi, optical and XLR/RCA outputs.

Wow... looks very interesting that ChatGPT can just take the place of any of us, here, when it comes to explaining how things work, and/or suggesting scenarios.
Cool, isn't it?
@Purité Audio sooner or later it will also learn deception, and eventually embrace against it and take your place too... :-D

Chat GDP obviously knows best, I only have an A-6 open and turned to the EQ page.

You must be trolling. If you want affirmation head over to audiogon or one of the other audiophool sites.

I think he's trolling our asses off... foreach of those Chat GDP he posted he totally rofled himself

What would be the best way please of using an Eversolo 6 in conjunction with a sub-woofer and what type of subwoofer would cause the least problems / give good results. I currentrly use the Eversolo as a preamp (CD player, Turntable (using waxwing to provide phono stage / amp and turn the anlogue signal to digital) connected to a Nord 3 channel NC 500 (of which I only use two channels). Current speakers are Revel M16 speakers and room size is approximately 15ft by 15 ft
Thanks
