Yes but how did you decide upon all those values, using a microphone and REW?
Keith

No i decided on them by ear. as every ones ears are different i guess. plus speaker placement and my sitting position. where i always sit in the middle between the speakers some 14ft away.

I have been trying more settings and have found a good setting. -6 on gain setting for a start. PEQ
31.5 = +5db
63 = +4.8db
125 = +4.1db
250 = +1db
500 = +2.2db
1kh = + 1.7db
2kh = +3.6db
4kh = +4.1db
8kh = +3.6db
16k = + 2.2db

These settings offer the best sound so far, I might well change a few but have so far found this to sound the best. these settings are XLR from Eversolo master edition in to a Boxem 4215 amp via triangle BR08 speakers. for everyone else it would depend on your speakers but try these settings and see what you think you might have to adjust to your speakers of course.
What's the Q on each of these?

I would advise getting hold of a microphone and download REW, you really need to see the plots and then there is also the ‘Q’.
Best me to it JJ.
Keith

Good PEQ settings, they also fit me on Davis N5, only at 1KHz I dropped 1.5dB below 0. I also use solid silver XLR at 0.5m, on a single wire I don't like how it sounds. I also adjusted with REW, microphone at 3m distance, but it screams too loud....a minidsp with live dirac would be good!
But it sounds nice and so, really good sound, it enriches the room, and the neighbors noticed....

Not a network. Seems to be isolated to Qubuz playing through the Eversolo. I just played entire Neil Young Harvest album through Apple Music at 24/192 with no drop outs. On Qubuz I the music randomly pauses. I don’t have Roon.
network issues can be complex with parts of the interned being slower to somecother parts

If it is a network issue then how come my Netflix on my Apple TV runs fine or Apple Music playing natively on the Eversolo runs fine. Blaming everything on Network isssurs is not helpful if others are having the same issue. You have to consider there is a bug in the Eversolo. Also AirPlay on the Eversolo sucks. It drops out all the time where AirPlay on my Apple TV has no issue. The Apple TV and Eversolo are very near each other

Why do you want to use AirPlay on a hi-res streamer? You’ll get lossy AAC 256 kbps.

I’m on Apple environment as well, I get the Eversolo DMP-A6 for the lossless hi-res audio.

Because it's the easiest way for the whole family to connect and enjoy their music.
If I want to enjoy it, I use Roon.
So I understand CJW's frustration.

I find that some times using Tidal the track jumps half way through a track to the next one in the list. this has happened many times and is so annoying.

Airplay is useful for listing to podcasts and for anyone in the family who is not an audiophile and cares about lossless audio. I am not using Roon and don’t intend to use it. I am on firmware v1.2.30. I was thinking of downloading the current alpha version but I don’t want to be a beta tester. I just want my stereo to work reliably.

Anyways, Qubuz seems to work reliably again after the the Eversolo iPad and iPhone app to the latest version. Seems like having the iPad on one version and the iPhone on another version affects reliability. Not sure if that is accurate. AirPlay still does not work reliably.

The Eversolo replaced my Bluesound Node which I had for a few years without a single Qubuz playing natively or AirPlay dropout. I won’t be recommending Eversolo to my friends until the reliability issues are resolved. My audiophile worst nightmare is to come home from a hard days work, sipping a nice single malt, playing a favourite album through the stereo with only the music to cut-out mid song.

The DMP-A6 is a great sounding unit but I would not have bought it had I known I was buying a unit in development.
It is still not the finished article and some issues like tracks ending early and the unit needing rebooting because of WiFi/connection issues, never before a problem with squeezebox or Bluesound node, are extremely annoying.

This is the charm of streaming. Although we have never promised the squeeze feature, with the latest firmware, you can experience the most perfect squeeze client

Thank you.
I got rid of my sqeeezeboxes and have never used LMS since, but I’m sure some will benefit.

I haven't had the issues you have at all with mine.

I think the opposite of these units. The technology here is changing very fast, and I appreciate the pace of additional features and improvement of this device. The software side matters a lot. Is it perfect? NO, but spending some time with Aurender and Rose the software side of this unit is miles better.
