i have read reviews on streamers for years as most of my music is digital on nas,, but carried on with my Cambridge audio v1 connected to rme dac fs.then a perreaux amplifier
but lots were 3or 2 box solutions, also i was not interested in building my own. This unit to be honest ticked all of the boxes for me ,I'm not bothered about the screen, it is a bonus though but weirdly whatever music i play ranging from punk to classical it just sounds good.i listened to the two versions at my house and as a transport no difference so totally agree with Keith i dont know if you use the eversolo as a dac if the master version then would make a difference, I never tried it . but as a bonus turned off my nas saving me some electricity.

The standard version is audibly transparent, see Amir’s review so the Master version cannot be ‘better’.
Keith
You're to honest for Your business, there's 450 difference in sales.
Respect for Your standing.

Is anyone here from Eversolo?
To answer Your question and that about the differences between master and standard:

@mirror88
Does the femtosecond clock in Master version improve playback quality in the case of using DMP-A6 like pure digital transport?

Jitter hasn't been an issue for a long time. No need to worry about clocks.

I just noticed something interesting:
According to docs submitted to the FCC, the only internal difference between the Standard and Master Edition is the Dual Femto Clocks PCB board.
But according to re-sellers like audiophonics.fr and eversolo-netherlands.com and various reviewers, they have different OP amps (Operational Amplifiers). more specific, the Standard Edition is supposed to have the OPA1642 while the Master Edition the OPA1612.

Now, these (the black 4-pin chips between the red things) look virtually identical.
Has anyone actually verified if they are indeed different between the models? :rolleyes:

Unfortunately, dealers and various reviewers say something completely different, and the price difference is significant.

True. Isn't it nice to be able to see (and hear) the results of tests and measurements, rather than being in a situation where you are just prey for some scam artists? ;)

Jim

Better if they would have added PEQ to the master instead of dual clocks and different opamp. I guess that wouldn't appeal to the target demographic?

The difference between the two is that the 1612s are three times more expensive...

OPA 1642 :

OPA 1612 :

Thank you, but I know that - what I can't tell is if the op-amps are really different between the 2 Eversolo models.

@Eversolo

Is there a chance for a substantive response from Eversolo? The silence is more than eloquent.
Zidoo.tv may give an answer.

This is not forum for non advertising from anyone.

Plus, isn’t the master edition a 3rd party offering, albeit perhaps with Eversolo’s blessing

Definitely made by Eversolo, not. sure why they made it ( obviously know the audiophile market better than me) but they did, interesting to know which will be their next step, a £5k ‘audiophile’ version or actual added functionality/value to their existing products.
Real competition looming with the Wiim ‘Ultra’.

wiim has never had m-hdg audio engineering capacity for the moment...they offer modest solutions (and not necessarily that well mastered...)
but they dynamically create affordable mainstream streaming solutions for the general public...

m-hdg?
Have you seen the measurements for the new Wiim Pro Plus, ( see @VintageFlanker review measurements) and with the introduction of their new ‘Ultra’.

don't worry, I know a little...
we are on the basis of 100 dollar dacs on this new entry-level akm and moreover in relation to the tests carried out at the vintage era "pre-serie", wiim had to debug in hardware this version quickly to release a new one version because of real problems in audio..now it is proven that problems linked to power supply problems (observed by onlyoneme) ..but surprisingly a firmware in test seems to remedy this..to come so
should now be consistent...
