I have also asked again about the ‘Master’ edition just for clarity, price will remain at £758 inc vat and shipping.

Hi Keith. Thanks for the info on the Eversolo. I'm interested in it as a potential preamp/streaming partner to the Dutch&Dutch 8C and have a couple of questions.
1) Have you been able to connect the Eversolo to the D&Ds AES input? (Using, for example, the Eversolo's coax digital out.) If so, how does the sound compare to connecting to the D&Ds by analogue XLR?
2) Does the Eversolo bypass its internal DAC when streaming to active speakers via its digital outputs? (Would prefer to avoid two stages of DA conversion.)
3) Does the Eversolo have lossless volume control?
4) What are your impressions of the Eversolo's analogue preamp section?

Duncan I haven’t yet connected the Eversolo’ digital output to the 8Cs XLR ( digital in ) I did compare the Eversolo going in to the 8Cs XLR ( analogue ) to ROON direct streaming couldn’t hear any difference.
I don’t know about the bypass ‘@Mirror’ from Eversolo is the guy to ask, likewise re the lossless volume, I tend to use Roon’s volume which is directly linked to the 8Cs.
From Amir’s measurements I would expect the DMP to be audibly transparent.

Just to update notification from UPS that our first Eversolo delivery arrives tomorrow !
Initially I wanted to try the the two components Amir has reviewed the Z-8 dac and the DMP A-6 streamer.
I will post something hopefully of value asap.
DMP-A6 has a MRSP of £759 inc vat and delivery.
Eversolo DMP a-6 has arrived and very pretty it is too.

I'm sure your enjoying the dmp-a6 as i type.
I was hoping you might be able to tell me the shipping dimensions of the dmp-a6 and the weight.
I've looked everywhere for it and can't find it anywhere.
As a friend will be bringing it from the uk to South Africa i need to have a good idea beforehand.
