I didn't say anything about "influencers". I stated there are YouTube videos with DAC comparisons side by side that you can listen to. These are not from "influencers" or well known YouTube reviewers.
Also, I notice in your other thread on the DMP A-8 that we can stop by the shop to hear the DMP A-8....but why would we need to listen to it if it sounds identical to everything else that's competently designed? We've already heard its' sound signature on every other piece of gear. What exactly would we be listening for? And why?
Are the sound signature differences captured in this video fake or imagined?

Some things just sound the same, the A-8 sounds identical to the A-6 because they are both audibly transparent, the A-8 does have some extra features.

This is the dealers section. If anything it's customers harassing the dealer saying they sound different.
Can you please recommend products that are NOT transparent so we can avoid buying them?

Look at Amir’s ‘dac list’ the very last few ( the very poorest engineered) might sound different.
The interesting question is just how bad do they have to be ( just how much distortion do they have to add) before you can actually hear a difference.

Maybe they sound the same in Purite’s system but the regular A6 and A8 sound different in my system and virtually everyone who has tested them. Just watch the many many Youtube videos where people say they sound different. I have no skin in the game to make up that they sound different. I’m not selling anyone anything. And, I would venture at least one of the Youtubers would try to save you money and get you to buy the regular A6 if it sounded the same but they all say it does not sound the same.

Wake up man. A6 and A8, use two totally different DACs. ESS and AKM……How can they sound same, as each have their own unique sound. Not too mention, A8 has much better power supply, dual, and much better jitter circuit.
I live in Toronto, Canada. I was at a hifi store named Kennedy HiFi in Markham, Ontario. This store sells middle to very hi end gear. Sales rep in store set up, both A6 and A8 on same system. We just switch between the two. Both sounded good. Eversolo A8 definitely sounded more fuller, not bright at all, with more synergy than A6. There were 12 people in store, and all agreed. Several people from store bought A6 or A6 ME, and returned too buy A8. Eversolo A6 is great, but A8 better as is warranted by price increase.

A6 and a8 don’t sound the same . Bought A8 myself after comparing it with a6 on the same room, same equipment, level matched . Also thrown was topping d90 iii sabre . Every manufacturer wants a distinctive sound from their build for their customer - the tuning of the same dac can be done in various ways plus everything that is inside the box working together .

The test and spec numbers differ. There is no such thing in reality as synergy in audio gear. That is a dream. I've compared hundreds of CD player DACs with a switchbox and headphones and they sounded the same from $200 units to $1200 units and there is virtually no way a modern clean DAC done without coloration or differing voltage output levels sound outstandingly different. Imagination is a very vivid thing.

Ah, the other guy wants us to agree with him. No one is agreeing on different sound signatures. And he is also just as aggressive in his stance.

No, it’s the opposite . No theoretical statement can alter the fact how a human experiences things in life .
Nobody is saying you didn't experience what you experienced. The issue is that your personal experience is yours and yours alone. For every person that says they heard a difference there is someone else who says they can't hear a difference. Disputing a scientifically reproduceable measurement based on a personal experience is pointless.
I have a certain degree of colour blindness. To me some colours look the same. My experience is that they are the same even though the colours measure differently. It would be foolish of me to try to convince everyone around me the colours are the same because I experience them to be the same. No amount of personal testimony can alter the fact that the colours are in fact different.
