Eversolo DMP-10, new release 25 october

If they'd add DDC and ADC with RCA/XLR inputs and full EQ, to the A6 standard; Room Correction; upgrade to octa-core CPU with 6GB RAM, for future enhancements; maybe an 8" display,, I'd buy that, but I don't need nor want the rest of the A10. Alternatively, maybe WiiM will make an Ultra Plus with these, for a reasonable price increase.

Comparing A10 and A6/8 only by design (well seen on this image): A6/8 is smooth and timeless, A 10 naja ....
The first thing that appealed to me about the A6 was the elegant clean aesthetic and balanced proportions. The A10 has lost this.

Hope the photos are overexposed cause that's not black.

Wow, look at that much larger 6.5" display. A whole half inch increase.
Sarcasm is the lowest from of wit!
I have found 6.5 inches perfectly serviceable.

Sarcasm (or simply ironically) sometimes is a pure reaction to reality.

Many people don't understand sarcasm, perhaps making it a higher form of wit. I have found 6 inches is perfectly serviceable, too. I was sarcastically referring to the half inch increase on a device costing almost five times the price of the A6, for which one might reasonably expect an increase of more than just a meagre half an inch.

Well, I can't name any features this is missing, off the top of my head. If I was (for some reason) in the market for an expensive, fancy DAC, I would look at this.

But if you keep your eyes peeled you can get a set of LS60s for around this much money, which share several features with this and also... are speakers.

I wouldn’t poo poo an extra half inch!

Well, it's a streamer too, sure, but so is a WiiM Mini, that doesn't pull 4 figures in my book these days.
I'm with You that this is not the AIO all could dream of, but it is not *really* bad, and the pricing comes close to some active speakers including SW-out, as You pointed out correctly (but KEF did not manage to intergrate sufficient PEQ into software in the past, did they recently?) .
The A 10 might (is it confirmed?) provide HP/LP filtering and DSP for room correction and maybe some more .... and thus could be a point of interest
.... if it was for A8 price, but not a cent more.
(and not that uggly)

They should have saved material cost just by taking rectangular frame without heat sinks which is for me just dust gathering function....:(

That's why I'm waiting to read their manual regarding bass management and EQ in general. I remind you that Eversolo claims to offer state-of-the-art room correction. As for data storage, if the A A10 allows direct CD ripping, I assume the data will be stored directly on the internal SSD? My question is, is an external mirror backup storage device possibly planned? Having already lost 4TO of data, I've become paranoid about this issue."

I tried ripping CDs on the A6. Too many CDs would fail because of the BS copy protection. I just ripped them on a PC and copied them to the internal drive from a plug in USB SSD. Better to do it that way. Fast and simple. No need to backup from the A6.

Wait a min, I thought A10 is recycling the same old screen from A6/A8, how did it grow another half inch?

Bigger and Better

The upgraded control panel features a larger touch screen display for an immersive user experience. With operation experience similar to mobile devices, the DMP-A10's fully intelligent music interface is intuitive and smooth, offering better viewing experience like larger album art displays. It is designed not only for exceptional sound but also for a luxurious visual enjoyment.

Nice! I read the desceiption posted to this thread earlier stating 6” that’s why thought it was 6”.

Still smaller than my iPhone screen though :(

Now that A10's product page shows WOL (wake-on-LAN) capability, it means that it also has a true "standby" mode with low power consumption, right?

In the end, considering everything including the price in line with the class of the device, I came to the conclusion that Eversolo has created an excellent high-end product and that when it is listened to, it will also be very successful.
