The first Eversolo ‘Play’ units have arrived, all my AsciLAB speakers are out at present so I haven’t had a. chance to connect the ‘Play’ up.
My hope is that teamed with the compact AsciLAB F6B/C6B the combination will make a super desktop or smaller room system with a total cost of £1300 (Play is £599 inc).
Details and specification can be found here.

One IMHO major omission, for a "system in a box": no headphone socket.

That is a tight little package for the cash. Would have been perfect for late-20s me, though back then I suppose it would have been a Napster frontend or something...

Yes, not a fan of headphones myself but I can see how that provision might be useful.

And I guess you have sideload the settings apk to get Bluetooth transmission for headsets.

@Purité Audio Do you have any updates on this, it is coming out in my region the same time as the Wiim Amp Ultra, the Eversolo is about half the power output, but my use case is a desktop pc setup where I listen to things low volume within 1-2m of where speakers would be. I am wanting to get the C6B so I would love to know if the Eversolo puts out enough volume, I typically listen at a max of about 70db, so anything over that and it would be plenty for me :)

(I cant find any info anywhere but does the eversolo play have high pass filter functionality?)

@J0my I'm using the Play with Dynaudio Evoke 10-s in a near-field setup. Previously, I was using AIYIMA D03 to drive them; usually, the volume was around 20%, now this is ~50% on the Play, but there is plenty of headroom.

Thanks for that input, looking at your speakers specs it is slightly even more inefficient than the C6B (84 vs 85 db). So hopefully that will give me some confidence that it will drive the C6B's well enough.

Can’t find on a search. How does the Eversolo Apple Music app compare to Apple Music‘s own app?
