Pretty impressive. Accurate to within 1 second per 30 billion years. Moving it far less than a millimeter causes the rate of time to change due to a change in the curving of space by gravity.

Nice, but just not accurate enough for my D/A converter. I can hear those jitter sidebands down to -300dB.

Just needs a linear power supply.

Aye, VU Meters unnecessary methinks.

Tho analogue hands, an old-school bell type alarm, and optional Micky Mouse case would be good for the ultimate retro styled bedside alarm clock.
Clock bragging rights...

I guess we only need a "leap second" every 30 billion years then :D

Hmm.
It's not the velocity of the movement that does it?
;)

Hopefully hot chicks will be allowed/encouraged to propose guys every leap second then/now...

Wait, could be just a myth. Definitely a dream. Not sure why.
Whatever. Could be hazardous and/or impossible. Due to the laws of physics.
If consensual, definitely not inappropriate tho. Surely.

Very cool high fidelity clock tho.

Ahem. Apologies.
Afternoon wine.

That means when we are trying to arrive in time to witness the sun in its red giant phase swallow up the earth - we'll only be +/- around 0.167 seconds off. :)

Putting that one in my calendar...

Can't touch the warmth and far less etched and clinical timing of my Nixie clock.

Presumably given said clocks outrageous accuracy and consequent mind bending (without a calculator) inaccuracy calculations, one has a new excuse for being late.ie Apologies. Had to stop for a while as the calculations/conversion/comparison to my watch, that has hands (only), gave me a headache.
Or some such.

It won't run for 30 billion years.

Fun fact : "A stopped clock tells the right time twice a day." - sample used on an early Orbital track. Perhaps there's a setting, (deep in the menus no doubt), that allows this one to do so too.
If not it surely is no more than a simple firmware update.
Plus you could incorporate analogue ticking sounds. Personalised alarms. Or James Bond style doomsday device sounds perhaps (countdowns etc). All villains obvs. Would work visually for sure. Looks serious/mean.

Not a massive clock guy, and most likely out of my time keeping budget anyway. Plus way too big to be practical in any room in my flat.
(Got enough trouble fending off the mrs re speakers already.)
