There is a $10,000 incentive from GM to buy a Chevy Bolt in the Bay Area. My take: California requires a certain percentage of EV's to be sold by manufacturers. GM is ready to lose money on the Bolt to sell other profitable models.

This gorgeous plug in Hybrid had long waiting periods when it was introduced. My take is it was short on horsepower and needed a 4 cylinder turbo and a larger electric motor to compete in it's price class against Porsche.

Short take, Tesla Model 3 is best in class going 270 miles. However, research this brand before buying to see what life is like without a dealer network.
