(Europe) Master Deals Thread on Audio Product Sales

That moment when you realize Monoprice also sells in the EU

I always tought it was a US only company :D
Unfortunately they don't offer their whole lineup in Europe - but it seems to be getting better, I'm almost certain last time I checked only subwoofer available was the cheapo 8 inch one, but now they actually offer the 10 inch THX one.

Currently there is a good price for the SMSL DA-8s Class-D amplifier at Amazon.de. For Prime customers € 99, - including shipping from the German Amazon warehouse. Delivery unfortunately only within Germany.
DA-8s on Amazon.de
The DA-8s has an Infineon MA12070 chip, an NJW1194 for volume control and an external 24 V DC power supply. If you can do without the subwoofer output and get by with 2 x 80W / 4Ohm or 40W / 8Ohm, you will find an interesting little amplifier in it.

Sorry,

seems they deliver to Germany only.

is this the right place to ask about the new EU import VAT rules?
i hope it is, as it affects only EU residents, but if not, sorry, just ignore this.

well the way i understand it is that when you purchase something from outside the EU, if the seller is engaged in the EU program and collects the VAT at the moment of purchase (for instance JDS labs do, aliexpress do as well....), then, if the value is less than 150eur, you can receive your order without any problem and with no need to pay anything else.

i actually find this quite advantageous over the previous system and many devices discussed here are cost less than 150eur (176usd as of today), but i have not tried it yet.... so my question is, has anyone "experienced" the new system?
thanks for your comments

I'm not 100% sure but I think there are custom fees to be payed on all packages entering the EU.

That is the important point: i inderstand with the new rules you must pay VAT from the first euro BUT custom fees only above 150eur

IF the shop is registered in the EU and charges VAT and import fees, there is no extra to be paid.
For ALL packages entering the EU, bought from a shop not registered there are VAT and customs fees and import tax to be paid. Even on 2nd hand goods!

For Users in Germany/Austria:

Sennheiser HD660s in the Sennheiser Outlet for 269€
HD600 for 320€
HD800s for 1184€
among other products such as their line of noise cancelling headphones.

https://de-at.sennheiser.com/outlet

€ 269 for HD660S is very good.

In the Netherlands:
HD600 € 288,- (new)

HD650 € 332,- (new)

Thanks! After adding a product to basket and navigating to it I could change the country to my own (NL) and continue the order. So seems not only valid for DE/AT.
Ordered myself a HD660S.

+ If the shop is not registered and the parcel has to be opened you have to be there yourself or pay the postal service like DHL a handling fee. And that's up to 28€

Probably a regular price. Because for it to be a sale, it's not really a good sale. But it's a good price though!
