(Europe) Master Deals Thread on Audio Product Sales

White is the best, dust is not so visible. But I get that bigger speakers should rather be dark in a cinema room..

Let’s be patient. Soon enough there will be fully transparent finishes (with no acoustic disantvantages) that will impose the technicality of drivers to our naked eyes.

Vintage F is back!

Doublepoint has gone radio silence from my inquiries after my order was made, and my x4800h order is still in "Processing" status even the page says 1-2 weeks. It seems quite systematic with them as reported on Mydealz.de. For that, I discourage anyone from buying from them. I will update this post to reflect that as well
Did you get your receiver or your money back? Doublepoint is now bankrupt.

yes I did reply on x3800h review thread - I created a chargeback request to my credit provider, and they credited me back.
Hope people bought from DP got some kind of protection. Sad that a legit company turned a scam like that

Sad to hear. My orders came through without issues, but it was domestic (NL)

Going bankrupt is not exactly a scam, although I fully understand that the customers not receiving the goods they paid for feel scammed.

very few people were getting their orders as you can read the reviews on trustpilot

no, I did not mean going bankrupt = scam. but it's a systematic problem that a lot (I don't have any number nor %, the reviews on trustpilot are definitely skewed as unhappy people will likely speak up) of customers are not getting their orders after long delay and repeated lies (it's coming next week, tomorrow, 10 days)
As I said in another thread, there were bankrupt companies with more integrity.

I didn't mean that it was just your issue and it isn't a legit complaint but that it's sad to hear that stuff like that still pops up. Good you got your money back. Did you find another good deal in the meantime?

I did buy a x3800h from amazon a while back for 870EUR shipped, think I posted it here as well. Could be happier with a x4800h but well, as long as I have a working AVR.
I meant they were a legit a company, but toward the end of their business (~ 1 year) they became increasingly bad with shipping the orders. Someone mentioned they have problem with credit so payments were used as short term loan (with no interest). they do ship from time to time but a lot (don't know how many %) of orders were not shipped. The problem was not with domestic or international, the problem was they have no stock and not intending to order from distributor.

After I ordered I realized they ran 15% campaign ON EVERYTHING quite frequently, which raised an alarm. Sure retailers could run that, but only in very short period of time, even just one day. In hindsight it was obvious but well, another thing to learn!

Devine RX-10SA 10" subwoofer in white available for £94.50/€108 from BAX with free delivery.

Has been slowly dropping in price for weeks, got low enough I couldn't resist ordering a pair. BAX house brand, not much info out there but free 30 day returns if not happy.
Did you get the Devine RX-10SA 10" subwoofer from BAX Shop?
How does it sound?
I was tempted by that offer too.

Yup ordered two. Good weight to them, white finish looks nice but marks easily. Come with crappy stick on rubber feet that fall off as soon as try and slide them.

They've certainly got plenty of power, I've got them on less than 10% on the volume dial in my small room, fed from sub out on Wiim Ultra.

Initial impressions were that they were pretty flabby but room correction helped a lot with that. I'm crossing over at 90hz and they start rolling off a little below 40hz in line with published specs. Can't really provide a further fair assessment of sound quality at the moment as their placement is far from ideal while I wait to build some different stands for my main speakers, at which point I'll rearrange everything.

They're having a sale again: https://hidden-audio.de/lagerraeumung/#?ajaxtargets=product-grid
Some good offers (Q350 pair for 333€, Klipsch R-121SW for 319€, Elac UB52 b-stock pair for 290€, KEF LS60 pair for 4299€, Wharfdale Evo 4.3 pair for 898€) plus 3% pay-in-advance rebate and negotiable, some things are just regular price and a lot of it is just tat, seriously, they have so many products that I cannot imagnine anyone would ever buy.
