Assembly looks easy, but given the amount of amps that I have assembled, my answer isn't very objective. There is a video that may allow you to have you own opinion:

If shipping is free to EU countries as well, then looks like decent deal considering Neumann monitors are rarely discounted.

Not quite. HomeCinéSolutions had it for 1459€ shipped (to France). Yet, it still far from the 1100€-ish we had at the beginning of the year.

I check price daily (and usually multiple times a day), and never saw that. Even their confidential price is €1510

I know ... from my young age in tube electronics ;-)
I had projected to add a resistor to the bright front LED, but a sticker over it is simpler.
So I have never opened the box.

Wharfedale Super Linton (return from the customer)​

From the picture, they look like 'regular' Lintons because their logo is in the top right corner, while Super Lintons have it at the bottom center... it would definitely be a good idea to check with the store before purchasing.
