I must admit, that even staying with Focal, I'm not convinced a Sopra 1 much is better than a Solo6, and the later is active with thrice as cheap, maybe the Sopra 1 has better power handling? It's 89 db at not specified on the website and can handle up to 150W. But that's very expensive for the gain, especially since there's the ST6 which is still cheaper, has a larger enclosure with an 8" woofer.

The Solo6 (Be or ST6) does have a 6.5" woofer, not 8, nor that the enclosure is larger than Sopra N°1 by any means (quite the opposite). AFAIC, I tested both, I prefer the Sopra N°1.

That is Trio6. ST6 is a generation, not a speaker. Trio6, Twin6, Solo6, (the one you mentioned in your first post), Sub12... all are ST6.

Interesting that you prefer the Sopra over the other models, what do you think are the reasons behind the improvements and what were the improvements.
