(Europe) Master Deals Thread on Audio Product Sales

The headphones are certainly very good value for money. However, you should bear in mind that the build quality is rather modest. The leatherette ear pads and the headband of my Sundara were clearly worn despite careful handling, I was used to better quality from Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic and Dan Clark.

---------------------
Genelec 8351B for 3.255 Euro (new) or 3.174 Euro (b-stock)
It's not a huge discount but the regular price for this speaker seems to be close to 3.900 Euro now (unfortunately).

But this is the wrong thread for something like that.

Triangle Elara LN01, Grey, White or Piano Black, 199€ / pair (299€)

I think this is a very strange offer. The passive Elara series has not been part of Triangle's range for years now. In addition, the passive Elaras were only available in black and white. And last but not least, the Elaras were not made in France. No other shop offers these speakers and the models cannot be found on Triangles homepage either. I wonder if the shop is legit? Or did they just mistake the active and passive versions?

I wonder if you are kidding. ;) LDLC is one of the e-shopping leaders in France. It'd like the equivalent of Best Buy here.

No Triangle is made in France anymore, except Signature, Magellan, and the new Capella (and Limited Edition Esprit Anniversary 40th). All the rest is made in China for years and years now.

This is the passive version. It is a very common speaker in many "mainstream" stores here.

The passive Triangle Elara LN01 is also offered in Germany by many reputable HiFi dealers, but costs €378 - €449 for a pair.
Funnily enough, you can also get the active Elara LN01A version for the same price.
Both versions are also available in gray.

Mofi Sourcepoint 8 for 2.400 €, there is a newsletter discount (5%) and skonto (2%) also available. Stands are also discounted - so I paid 2.495 € for Sourcepoint 8 incl. original Stands. Only valid until today:

Code NEWTECH for V3 Mono works, but code OPTIMAL for stereo does not.
I can only warn you and all others from ordering from Fosi directly. They dont honor their own return policies and want money for the label, while its obviously free. The support Was totally aggressive and didnt help me at all. What a disgraceful support Team behind Fosi! Spread the word and only order from Amazon or other shops with good return policies.

This is interesting, I ordered twice directly and needed support concerning shipping, the parcel was lost, they send a new one, without further discussion, but OK, their behavior concerning warrenty-issues may differ.

Seems they dont know european laws very well and want to trick customers into paying what their duty is. I clearly ordered from germany and the item says free return within 60 days, but they still dont want to provide it after asking 3 times nicely. I will also contact eBay of course. Sad to see @Fosi Audio using false practises for a few Extra bucks. Just wanted to warn others from trouble, but enough offtopic for now though.

seems to me they do, they just don't give a crap
that's why Drop left after a short time, probably the same reason why Monoprice left (both operated without a local partner but directly from the Rotterdam shipping hub)...

I think you are under one or more misconceptions.
- Fosi is not based in the EU. If you order from outside the EU, this is not subject to our consumer laws.
- Free returns means you don't pay any restocking fees or anything similar. Of course you have to pay the return shipping costs. This only applies to unused goods.
- Fosi only covers the return shipping costs if there is something wrong with the goods.

!!!! Special case Ebay: If you bought the product on Ebay with "60 days returns. Seller pays for return shipping", you must process the return via Ebay so that you receive the free return label from Ebay. Fosi has nothing to do with this directly, as it is a service of the Ebay platform.
This applies to eBay purchases in general! Ask eBay service how to get the return label and process the return via the eBay platform.

Of course return was initiated via eBay system, but the seller still has to manually send you the return label. Communication is just handled via eBay system. Also the item was shipped from germany, so of course german laws apply. I can contact eBay in 2 days when fosi will have missed its deadline to provide a label, gonna see whats happening then. So Yeah very poor support from @Fosi Audio - dont order from them.
