Well, to be a speaker in a lamp did not look so bad with Erin's results.

Are you happy with the lamp?:)

Tip:

Or satisfied, with the lamp that is, is perhaps a better word. :)

Well, since nobody seems to have posted this, Erin's Audio Corner reviewed the IKEA Sonos Lamp

Probably because it's a step too far. "reviewing" an Ikea table lamp speaker. What's next? Shall we review a Barbie bluetooth speaker too?

What about a Thomas the Tank Engine bluetooth speaker?

I'll send a pair of these to Amir to review, what do you think?

Not Hifi directly, but fun.:)
Though you are right, what is it really that to reviewing. A test should really only say if there is sound or not. Reviewing, that is, checking FR and distortion levels?! But Erin did it just as a fun thing.:)
Curiosity is a good trait, as long as curiosity did not kill the lamp.

Or not, hm I'm a little split. Would Erin's test affect my purchase of such a lamp in itself, regarding the sound? I do not know.

Maybe this would work as a rear speaker in a home theater:

Oh Dear. Lego speakers. Judging by the picture, with some other lego creations, I think he might be serious.

I like this one better- it has a vintage amplifier sound to it.

Lego + some broadband elements = Some fun little project together with the kids.:)

... or if I may be honest, for oneself. You can always blame the children when you are childish.:) ...Computer speakers?
