Erin's Audio Corner gets a Klippel NFS!

I hate watching myself back but I have listened to them and already nitpicking myself. As they say, we are often our own worst critics. LOL

Have you got used to hearing your voice yet? That is the part that I always hate when I hear my voice in video....I know that is what my voice sounds like in real life and to everyone else, but it doesn't sound good to me. I don't know if I will ever get used to that part.

Edit* Found a bunch of studies about how we hear our voice compared to what it really sounds like. Interesting reasons.

Same here. The voice I hear in life is a rich and deep. On camera(and to others), I sound like a teenager.

Diysg has an established infrastructure for supplying good kits. I'd love to see measurements of the seos speakers and it would be a boon to diyers.

In a really cool turn of fate, a fellow on AVSForum who owns a pair of the HTM-12 (v1; v2 was apparently released last year) lives nearby. So, he brought them over this afternoon. He also has a set of the 1099's towers and center channel and we plan for me to test those next.

Erin where are you located? I bet we could get you a gedlee speaker. They tend to be pretty heavy though.

Congrats Erin. It will substantially simply your life in testing speakers.

What would either of you say is the average setup/prep time to do a new speaker scan? (not counting when the robot takes over)
