Equalizer APO not functional with Motu M2 audio interface.

Hey everyone, I recently purchased the Truthear Gate and wanted to make some changes to the response using EQ. I was hoping to do this with Equalizer APO but I keep running into issues. When attempting to install it so it applies to the output of the interface the program will attempt to do so a few times with each resulting in error. After this I normally get no audio out of the output of the interface whatsoever or the EQ just doesn't apply. I'm wondering if anyone knows about this and may have a fix. I understand that I could just get a Qudelix device to use for EQ but if there is a free alternative I would prefer to use that. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you by any chance try to use it with ASIO or WASAPI exclusive output?

That does not work with EAPO, it needs to use the shared output.
