Equalizer APO ***Generalized*** Settings for Bad (BAD) Speakers / Headphones

I've been playing around with some equalizer settings to try and bring a "general" use setting. I specifically made this setting for dance music, but I've been listening to metal as well and it sounds really good. Again, I must stress that this is for bad speakers and headphones, and for people that are looking for more BASS and cleaner treble. This is not meant to represent accuracy. I'll say this, accuracy on a Dell Desktop speakers with a mini-sub is a joke, accuracy is the last of my concerns when listening to music casually while I work. If I want accuracy I listen to music on my system upstairs. This is for people who want to hear cleaner audio and are looking for a particular sound.

1. You can just copy and paste these settings into Equalizer APO.
2. If you feel that the bass is too much, or too warm, start with the standard version and go from there. On good systems, +6 bass will probably be too strong, you could try halving the bass and treble to +3.

-- With my current office speakers +6 bass and treble at 80hz sounds the best. The +8 bass and treble is fun to play around with

Thanks, but I don't even understand what those EQ settings are supposed to do.

If you started with a neutral speaker and EQ to taste, ok, but start with a random "BAD" speaker??!
Do all bad speakers sound similar??!

Good question, I think all "budget" speakers can have a similar sound where lows and highs don't sound good. That's really the point here, to equalize slightly to help bad speakers sound better.
