End game desktop amp/dac

Hi Guys,

Hopefully this request is not stupid.
I love great sound and music. But I do not look at my self as an audiophile and would like to switch out many of my amp/dac in the near coming future.

Therefore, I would like to buy one desktop amp/dac + bluetooth, as is powerful enough for most headphones.
I might be changing out my headphones over times, but my solid amp/dac will not be changed out.

Please be aware that I do not know the price point of good solid amp/dac.
I guess there are many price point. And other things to consider such as:

• Output power
• Dac codex
• THD %
• Bluetooth version and codex
• Ect.

Price point could be 400 - 700 EUR.

I am really looking forward to receive some some good advices and recommendations.
And please; if you have nothing positive to say, please skip my thread, and look further ;-)

Some stacks you can't go wrong with are:
JDS Atom 2 amplifier/DAC
Topping E50/L50
SMSL DO100/Drop SMSL HO150X
Drop has the Topping DX5 for $219 which is a steal if they deliver to your country.
The SMSL C200 is another solid performer in the same low $200 USD price range.

If you want to push the budget, the best stack I've literally ever heard is the Topping A70Pro and E70 9028Pro DAC and that's the end of the road for upgrades or needing more power. Any of those are really good values. I mention a few since you'll know if any are easily available locally.

I can give you information about various DAC+Amps, but I will not tell you which model you should buy.

Please use the data available to you to make your own decision.

Are you considering using an inefficient, low impedance headphone in the future? Then the DX5 is not a good idea.

I just want a "future proof" amp/dac.
I have not idea which headphones I will buy in the future.

Why not give subjective recommendations?
Moderators does not always have to be objective ;-)
