Ah, one of the best "stoner albums", together with various Massive Attack ones. Good memories!

When I got stoned, I tended to sound like this, my nodt viewed uToob video to date (doesn't take much for that lol). Take a washing powder commercial jingle, mangle it a bit, add cut up drumloop and faux acid bass, et voilà:

Washing machines live longer with Calgon

Great times. Sadly, lost access to that uToob account. Oh well, not much on there anyway, and I must still have the project file somewhere anyway.

From 1995, a strange time:

Techno already blew up and was big business. It was literally everywhere, including charts topping tracks all over Europe. Trance was a big thing, so was Eurodance. Styles were beginning to seperate. Factions formed. Meanwhile, a small label back in Detroit held up the flag of Electrotechno unity, as it existed all through the 80s...

I make a drum loop and pitch it way up, then sample it with my Roland DJ-70 and play it a couple octaves lower with devastating results.
