Electronica/dance/techno/et cetera.

Sorry, not spamming -- these are the 12 inch singles I have listened to in my last session. Sorry if my musical tastes aren't up to your standards, but they're appropriate for the thread.
It's not about taste, but filling up the whole thread page with pictures, without leaving room for others. Please reconsider.

How is it not leaving room for others? There was an immediate post right after mine -- how is there no "room"?

Also -- what am I supposed to do when those WERE images of records I DID listen to -- I was a mobile DJ, and still have all my 12 inch vinyl, which I spin at home regularly. Should I not show images which are representative of what I'm listening to? I thought that's what this thread was for.

As for the taste comment -- I merely said that because it was suggested that what I was listening to and enjoying wasn't "music." The reply said something about "don't post pictures to spam the thread, just music," so that's why I answered that way. What I did wasn't spamming, and I'm not a spammer -- those images represented what I listened to last in the club/house/techno etc. genre, even though the songs were from the 90s.

Have to say that I agree.
Numerous random photos of records just makes for a low signal to noise ratio on the thread.
No offence man.
(It's all about the tunes mate!)

I represent what I listen to -- always vinyl, not videos or video based content -- with images of the records themselves. Sorry if this is bothering some of you.

But this isn't a thread to log what you listened to, more to recommend things to others, which is where the videos come in, we can click and listen.

It's not a thread to share what we're listening to in a specific genre? I was completely misinformed, then -- but even if that was so, why couldn't I share what I listened to via images of records I played and then those could be researched by others to see if they like it?

What makes it okay to share what one may like via a video clip for the purpose of having others discover it, yet not okay for someone else to do the same via an image of a 12 inch vinyl record? I never saw any descriptor anywhere that said "do not post here if you are sharing what you recently listened to in this genre."

If I listen to my music via vinyl mainly, how am I supposed to communicate that it may be something others would enjoy outside of the images I post? Just type out "Have a listen to this house track from 1995...it's called----"?

Sorry, but that doesn't make sense to me.

Additionally -- the very first post in this thread contained three or more massive video links, and you're going to tell me those take up less bandwidth than the few images I posted representing 12 inch vinyl singles? I get the feeling people just don't like looking at pictures -- which is beyond bizarre to me -- because a bunch of large video links don't have dissimilar effects on a page.

Roland is releasing the TR-1000 drum machine, their first one with real analog drums (plus digital extras) for decades. Big, chunky, expensive (3000$), lots of features. They got none other than Greg Broussard (The Egyptian Lover) for their promo. Genius move :D

PiKi / Kawaii Kaiwai
I was listening to the first page when this one was recommended to me and I was surprised by the thumbnail. I listened to it and it wasn't bad.

I don't know if this song restores the honor somehow ... anyway:

For me this all very weird stuff but not in a bad way. I like the itasha racing liveries even more, e.g. goodsmile racing:

Surprisingly good indeed! Super cute, but you can also take it seriously because that arrangement is flawless.

Lovely performance and a great place for the video:

I've been enjoying the LA band Automatic's new LP Is it Now?. This band has been described post-punk and synthpop, so if you're into that of thing, check it out.
