I've been enjoying the latest Mirror System release 'Route 77' (it's on Youtube and BandCamp at least if you want to look and listen). I've followed guitar hero Steve Hillage since his Gong days of the early to mid 70s and then he and partner Miquette's evolution the hugely techno System 7 era, which I find frustrating all too often as it's a collection of good dance beats screaming out (to me) for one of his blistering guitar riffs on top, which rarely happen sadly. The Mirror System tracks are gentler, to me not as monotonous and as my 'pogo-ing in a club or even at home :D' days are very long behind me, I enjoy the more chilled music on offer here.
