Best would be to ask him, tho he doesn't come often nor works for Elac anymore.

I am looking for a new amplifier for Elac DBR62 speakers. I am currently running with Sonos Amp and it is powerful enough to drive Elac speakers but I am looking for new amplifier for line in source as Sonos Amp's line in is not that great.

I was looking at Audiolab 6000a but few are telling that it is not powerful enough to drive it. Could someone please provide some inputs on which would be the right amplifier for this Elac Speaker?

It is not clear as digital input, I don't know if it is noise or any other factor. Also sound is weak when compared to airplay the same source.

Subjectively speaking, these speakers seem to have the most refined and extended treble I have heard from a speaker. I really enjoy it.

Im thinking about swapping indiana line 260x for something better. Are DBR-62 on higher lvl in sound quality terms than 260x or switching these two monitors doesnt make sense?

No frequency response measurements exist of the Nota 260 X, its performance is therefore unknown.

At the very least, switching to the DBR62 would get you into the realm of known loudspeaker performance, which has certain perks like being able to apply anechoic response correction.
