Dynaudio BM5A Mk2 is 45 Hz - 21 kHz
Elac DBR62 is 44 Hz - 35 kHz

Why does going up to 35k matter if I can’t even hear up to 20k? Do digital sources output above 20k? Also are these speakers similar enough that I can use the Elacs as rear speakers in a 5.1 setup? (For film, not gaming.)

When playing pink noise and testing with an RTA I'm seeing a big reduction in high frequencies 16k+ on the Dynaudio studio monitors. This is why I feel like the very high end is lacking on these speakers and the Elac DBR62's have a lot more content in that region.
