ELAC DBR62 vs Canton SP206 Advice

Hi everyone newcomer here, atm I have Onkyo A-9010, paired with bookshelf speakers Canton SP206, playing over Wiim mini streamer.I am having an option to buy ELAC DBR62 for around 260€. How big of an upgrade would it be? And is it even a good deal??

My room setup isn't that great, I had to put speakers on the wall mounts (10-20 cm distance from wall/corner). I am listening at around 2-2,5m distance.

Hi @sirDefacto! Welcome to ASR.

260€ for the DBR62 is a very good deal.

No measurements exist of the Canton SP206, so how big of an upgrade it would be, is impossible to tell.

Yup, I couldn't find anything on the internet neither. Nor some comparisons wit SP206 etc.

Just to give an update after a month or so of listening to ELACs. They are way better than the Canton SP206, in every department (except dimensions ). Sound is clearer, richer. For the SP206 I needed EQ to make them sound better, while ELACs are wonderful with a flat EQ.
